It was an only matter of time before the sky went dark. Well, if only time hasn't ran out before any of this occurred. If only there was little time left to save him. Save him from this madness. But it was too late. Taeyong couldn't stop the madness from spreading. To him. Or anyone else that soon embraced it within a blink of an eye. Everything has changed. The world has changed.
"T-ten..." Taeyong's voice, shakily spoke from aside the hall. Standing beyond the front door he'd entered, trembling in utter fear at the newly sight of the unsettled house submerged in darkness. An uneasy feeling clinched his stomache when stepping into the quiet place with a hand pushing the door closed.
Too quiet for the young man to stay calm for what has to come. It wasn't likely for his fiancé to wonder around the house when the lights are off unless it's night. However, this time. It felt odd as he slowly crept through the hall leading into the living area, thinking something could've happened with the power box stocked onto the side of the house. Or maybe Taeyong forgot to pay the electric bill. But was proven falsely after an unexpected encounter when ceasing his pacing steps.
Taeyong didn't want to believe it. He didn't want to believe anything that was happening in the present event viewing from the glimpse of his widened orbs at the living area. The atmosphere, disoriented and cold lingered around the house, draping everything around in its swooning embrace. Including Taeyong who felt its fingers nip his skin. Truly this was a terrifying moment.
"T-ten..." He calls out again, shakingly shuffled across the dark living area. Raising his foot over the coffee table that was turned upside down as if a fight broke off. Glancing beneath, he could see the glass cover, shattered into numerous pieces. Not only was the table dismembered, but the sofa was also turned over on its side. And the television that was stocked onto the wooden stand infront was knocked over onto its face. Where more glass decorated the floor.
The first thing to appear into view of Taeyong's mind was a robbery could've taken place. Maybe Ten and whoever the culprit was had a one on one match that ended into a bad duel. In result destroying the entire living area. Or something else he supposed but couldn't think of it. He was too scared for anything to process in mind. Just hoped that Ten was ok.
"Ah..damn!"
A sudden sharp-piercing pain inflicted within the bottom of his shoe, causing him to cease his movements and looked down to see a piece of glass tearing through the soles. Its needle like point slit across the fabricated sock covering his foot. Close enough to where it could've penetrated the skin. But to immediately take action by pulling the glass out. Then tossed it aside. And continued on forth along the living area in search for his fiancé's presence. Which were to be not found in any of the rooms below. Indicating that he was wasting time scrounging around like a lost puppy. And headed for the stairs, trudging upwards.
"Ten..are you alright?!" Taeyong shouts, once reaching the last step. He then glances around to see nothing but an empty hall.
But something felt different. The atmosphere wasn't like anything from what he felt downstairs. There's a peculiar aroma tinging the air. It smelled as if something died in the middle of the hall as what Taeyong described the pungent scent. Feeling the verge of wanting to vomit, Taeyong just shook away the gut clinching nausea, slowly proceeded down the hall. Feet moving in a constant pace when reaching the bedroom door. Then reached for the knob, completely unware of the red colored stain painting its sphere figure as he twisted it open, revealing another unsettled room.
