WARNING
I DID NOT PROOFREAD THIS😂😅

Nico sat in his cabin alone, scowling at his imagine in the mirror. He looked at the binder that sat on his chest snuggly. He stood in front of the mirror, in nothing but boxers and binder. He felt a wave of dysphoria wash over him. He hated the way he was born. He was born in the wrong body.

The binder was a size smaller than what it should have been but Nico didn't have the time or money to get a new one. He'd been using it for the past two years, and before that he used sports bras and ace bandages to bind.

Sighing softly he grabbed his shirt and tossed it on, moving his binder around until it felt comfortable. Well...as comfortable as a binder could be. He grabbed his sword that laid on his bed and made his way out the door, heading to the dining pavilion for lunch.

"Nico! Wait up!," yelled a familiar voice. Nico whirled around and smiled at the face of his boyfriend, Will Solace. The handsome teen was wearing his regular camp half blood shirt and shorts while a tiny satchel that hung from his belt which contained first aid supplies in case of an emergency. Nico hadn't told Will yet, his anxiety always made it impossible to do so.

"Hurry your ass up, Solace!," Nico yelled back playfully, his smile turning into a smirk. Will trotted up to him and pecked his lips. "Doofus,"Nico giggled.

"Your doofus though, di Angelo," he said as he wiggled his eyebrows. Nico playfully punched his shoulder. Will brushed it off and grabbed Nico's hand. "Come on, Death Breath."

Nico smiled and together they walked towards the dining pavilion. Nico sat with Will at the Apollo table, sitting on the end of the bench with Will's hand still holding his. The nymphs brought the food and they tucked into their meals. Nico didn't finish his meal, the binder making him too uncomfortable for him to eat (A/N - am I the only one who can't eat if my binder is too uncomfortable?). He felt it squeeze a bit too much which caused him to wince, his arm reaching over across his torso to touch the edge of the binder. It's less than 8 hours, so why is it acting up he thought.

Will looked over to Nico with a concerned look. "Neeks, are you okay?," Will asked. Nico just nodded.

"Yeah I'm okay,"Nico said. "I'm just gonna go to my cabin to lay down for a bit."

Will's concerned look near left his face. "Are you sure? Do you want me to come with you?," he asked. "Do you want me to get you anything?"

Nico shook his head. "No, you stay and eat. I'll be fine. I promise,"Nico said with a smile. He pecked Will's cheek and left the table before Will could protest again, making a bee line to his cabin.

He got inside and sped walked to his bathroom. Almost immediately he tore off his shirt and binder, wincing slightly. He took in a deep breath, air filling his lungs, and let it out. He grabbed his shirt and pulled it on, folding his binder and putting on his dresser that was next to the bathroom. He avoided the mirror, not wanting to be reminded of the body he was born in, how two lumps protruded from his chest.

He laid on his bed and stared at his ceiling, focusing on his breathing. Two minutes into it there was a knock on his door. "Death Boy? Are you okay?" It was Will. Nico's eyes widened. "Um, yeah Will, I'm fine," Nico said, his voice going an octave higher, something that happened when he lied.

"I'm coming in Death Boy," Will said, worry lacing his voice. "No Will please don-," Nico pleaded, shooting up from his bed, his sentence interrupted by the door opening and Will coming in.

Tears pricked Nico's eyes. Will was going to find out now. He's going to hate me. He's going to dump me for lying to him. He'll never want to see me again Nico thought. Will took notice of the expression on Nico's face and the lumps that were attached to his chest. A tear ran down Nico's face. "Will I'm so so-," Nico was interrupted again by Will hugging him tightly. Nico winced and Will loosened his grip on the boy.

"Dont you dare apologize, Nico," Will said in a soft voice. "I love you for you, okay?" Nico nodded and sniffled into Will's shoulder. "I should have told you sooner," Nico said. Will pulled back and wiped the tears that escaped the Son of Hades' eyes and kissed his nose.

"Thats not how that works Sunshine. You tell when you're ready," Will said as he smiled at him.  "I love you, Neeks." Nico smiled at Will and kissed his lips. "I love you too, Sunshine."

Will's smile dropped slightly and was replaced by a look of concern. "Why did you leave earlier? Did something happen? Cramps or packing or binding problems? I hope you aren't using ace bandages," Will said. "Ace bandages can cause serious harm. Gods know what would happen if you binder with those and trained with it." Nico chuckled.

"Will I don't use Ace bandages anymo-"

"ANYMORE!?"

"Yes Solace, anymore," Nico laughed at Will's face. He kissed his nose as reassurance. "But it was binding problems. My binder was giving me issues."

"Oh. Do you want to get a new one?," Will asked. "There's a box of binders at the Camp Infirmary."

"Why do we have a box of binders in the infirmary."

"We're the offspring of gods who were known for quite a few things. Non-cis kids are bound to show up. A few have, actually."

"Good to know...," Nico said. "But yes. I would like a new binder. Mine was a size too small."

"Nico!," Will exclaimed. "You can't wear binders that are too small! It's bad for you and your health!"

"Yes doctor solace," Nico drawled playfully.

"Good. Now, do you want to go there try some on or just let me bring the box here?," Will asked. Nico smiled at how helpful and accepting his boyfriend was.

"Can you bring it here. I don't want others to know just yet," he said, rubbing his arm. Will pecked his lips.

"Of course."

The rest of the afternoon consisted of Nico trying on binders and Will lecturing him on each one and reminding Nico to always tell him if anything's happens so that he could help ("I'll get you anything you need for that time of the month. Chocolate, stuffies, ice cream, you be it."  "If you need socks or anything for packing, just come and ask." "Remember, binder comes off at the eight hour mark. No excuses, mister."). Nico portrayed an annoyed look but he was actually happy Will was so...willing to help him.

He silently thanked the gods above that Will had excused him from his afternoon and evening classes. After finding three perfect binders and tossing the old one in the binder box, they settled down on Nico's bed to watch a movie.

Nico gazed up at Will from his spot and smiled. "Hey Will," Nico said, poking Will's cheek. "Guess what."

Will stifled a laugh as he look down at Nico. "What, Darling?"

Nico grinned. "I love you, Sunshine."

Will kissed his boyfriend's nose. "I love you too, death boy."
