Chapter 17- Why Are There Guns?

Aiden's P.O.V.

It has been 3 weeks since Heather and I dated. Everything was perfect.

"Hey Aiden," she walked in the kitchen and got a glass of water.

See that's what I like her. Noy only is she smoking sexy, beautiful, smart, and bubbly, but she is also confident, down to earth, and she will NEVER give up.

I made my way towards her and kissed her gently on her forehead.

"Hey munchkins."

She stopped drinking the water, lowered down the glass, and rose her eyebrows at me.

"Seriously? Munchkins?!" she burst out laughing. I like making her laugh and smile.

"Hey Aiden, can we go to the park?"

"Nope!" I said popping the P. She suddenly burst out in tears and I felt guilty.

"Shit." I mumbled.

"Ok, look Heather, we can't go to the park." I was so concerned about her she sobbed harder.

"But, Aid- Aiden why?" she looked at me with those puppy eyes. Damn. How could I resist those?!

"God damn it Heather! Fine!" I groaned.

"Thank you! Let me go get my bad. It's upstairs."She ran upstairs and I had a great view of her a-

"And don't look at my buns Aiden!" she screamed. I chuckled at her. That's why I love her so m- wait, did I just say

Heather's P.OV.

I went upstairs to go get my bag, but I didn't know where it was. I snapped my fingers and went to Aiden's room.

My bag was not on top of the bed so I looked under. I went to the couch and looked under, but all I see is darkness. I saw something and decided to get it out. Once I touched it, it was cold and heavy.

I took it out and I froze.

I was holding a gun.

I saw more guns under the couch and brought it all out.

"Hey Heather, what's taking you too-," Auden barged in and his eyes grew wide when he sae what I was holding.

"Ugh, Heather, why do you have guns?" he laughed nervously.

I brought the gun down, stood up, made my way towarda him, and smacked him at the back of his head.

"For your information 'munchkins', I went to your room to go look got my bag. I checked under the couch instead and what do I see? I see guns. And you tell me where I got the guns?" I screeched.

"Ugh, yes?" He smiled nervously. I went to him and stood crossed my arms.

"You are such a jerk!" I slapped his chest. I turned around, but Aiden grabbed my arm.

"Look Heather, let me explain." He dragged me and I sat on the bed while Aiden sat down beside him. I HAD to let him explain why he had kept a lot of guns.

"How should I tell you?" he mumbled.

"Tell me why you kept them," pointing at the guns.

"I kept them because I'm in a gang with Zach."

"And why was there a crazy person chasing me?" remembering what Zach told me.

"I made this mess and now you're in it too. You're involved right now and it's because or me."

"Look, Heather," he sighed hard. He rubbed both his temples and looked at me.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

"You're forgiven, but please tell me everything immediately." He nodded his head and kissed me gently. He placed his right hand on the side of my left cheek while I was weaving his hair. Everything is just going to be fine,

for now.
