"Cesc what did you do?” Belina asked as she stared at her ex-boyfriend, he smiled at her innocently as he pulled up outside of an expensive apartment block; she hadn’t known why he had brought her to Pedralbes but she knew that it couldn’t be good.
The footballer shut off the car as he looked at the brunette, he knew that she wasn’t going to be happy about what he had done; Cesc had done a lot of thinking and he wanted to secure the future for Belina and Alejandro, he didn’t like the idea of them being made homeless at any point.
“Don’t get mad… but I bought an apartment and I’ve signed it over to you,” Cesc said making the brunette stare at him shock, she blinked as Cesc pulled out a set of keys and handed them to her; he had done what he needed to and he just hoped that she would understand why he had done this.
The footballer had done a lot of thinking in the last week and he had decided that it was time for him to step up and be a proper father to Alejandro; he had talked with Daniella and had told her that while he loved having Maria and Joseph stay with them, he needed to now concentrate on his own children and not his step-children.
“You didn’t have to do any of this… the house we have is fine,” Belina said as she looked at her ex-boyfriend, she had enough on her plate right now without having to worry about what he had planned; her office was making people redundant and she knew that if she slipped up then she would lose her job and then she would have real problems.

Opening the door to the apartment, Cesc looked at Belina before he allowed her inside; he hoped that she would be happy in the home that he had gotten for her and Alejandro, it was something that he should have done when he had first found out that she was going to have his baby.
“Cesc… I’m serious this is too much,” Belina said as she looked around the apartment that the footballer had gotten for her, she didn’t know what had gotten into Cesc but she was a little shocked that he had gone and done this without telling her.
“It’s just the start… I owe you so much Bel that I want to make things right,” Cesc said as he walked into the kitchen, he pulled a bottle of champagne and moved to get some glasses; Belina opened her mouth in protest before she sighed knowing that he wasn’t going to listen to her either way.
The footballer had picked up from work so that brunette was wearing a nude metallic top with draped detail and black skinny jeans with patent panel paired with black two tone shoe boots; she didn’t know what to expect any more from him.
Belina set down her black quilted tote bag before she sat down on the couch, Cesc brought over two glasses of champagne and handed her one as he sat down next to her.
“Cesc Gracias,” Belina said grateful that he had done what he had, she knew that she was going to struggle in the coming months and she had a feeling that she could finally rely on him; the footballer smiled at her as he clinked the glasses together.
“It’s nothing… I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and I know I haven’t been there in the past, but that changes now… if you ever need anything just asked,” Cesc said as his brown eyes searched hers; he wasn’t going to allow anything to happen to Belina or Alejandro as long as he had his say.
Belina raised an eyebrow at him, she knew that he had been coming around to her house a lot more recently to see Alejandro; their son was slowly coming out of his shell again but he was still a little distant when he came home from school.
The two were quiet for a moment as they both sipped on the drinks, she knew that there was something else going on and she wanted to get to the bottom of it; Belina watched Cesc knowing that his girlfriend was probably far from happy about what he was doing for her and their son.
“Okay what is really going on Cesc?” Belina asked as she set down her glass and looked straight at the footballer, she raised an eyebrow at him wondering if this had anything to do with his relationship with Daniella’s two children; she knew that he was closer with them than Alejandro and she wasn’t surprised since he had known them for longer.
Cesc eyed his ex-girlfriend knowing that it was useless to lie to her, she knew him inside and out and wasn’t going to miss something like this; she knew him better than anyone, she knew him better than Daniella did.
“I was spending time with Lia the other day and it got me thinking about what I missed with Alex, I know there is no way to bring back everything that I missed,” Cesc said shaking his head, he looked at Belina knowing that he had a lot to make up for; the brunette sighed as she took his hand knowing that he was hurting.

Belina giggled as she talked with Cesc, the two of them had sat talking for a couple of hours and the brunette was sure that they shouldn’t have been drinking so much but they were talking about the past.
“I can’t believe how much things have changed,” Cesc said as he looked at Belina, she nodded her head as she set down her glass; she had to get home soon since Alejandro was having dinner at a friend’s and would be dropped off at the house soon.
The two sat in silence for a moment before Cesc took Belina’s hand, she looked at him confused as he shifted closer to the brunette; he licked his lips as he stared into her eyes and thought about everything that had happened between them in the past.
“I was an idiot you know… I should have never let you go,” Cesc mumbled as he looked at her, he didn’t know what else to say about what had happened between them but he wished there was some way that he could make things right.
Belina swallowed as he looked at her, she knew that she should send him away before they did something stupid; however them being alone like this wasn’t going to work out well for either of them.
“I made such a mistake with you and I wish that there was something I could do to make things right,” Cesc said as he continued to move closer to her, his brown eyes searched hers as he tried to work out what was going on and why he was feeling like this.
Belina pulled back slightly from Cesc as she suddenly became aware of how close together they were, she knew that she couldn’t do anything with him especially while he had a girlfriend that he had waiting for him back home.
“We shouldn’t,” Belina whispered making Cesc nod his head before he kissed her, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close; the footballer wasn’t sure what had caused this but he couldn’t help himself from holding her close.
Belina moaned softly into the kiss, she knew that she should stop him knowing that at the end of the day he would be returning to his girlfriend; however she couldn’t bring herself to stop as old feelings resurfaced.
