More Than Meets The Eye
We walked into the front door of this place,
I looked behind me as I went in,
And I noticed that these things,
Were already putting back together the fence,
The door closed behind me,
And I looked inside,
I was amazed,
As the marble floors,
Stretched out in front of me,
I was amazed by the beauty,
Of the building,
We walked,
Escorted,
By two of these things,
I was free,
And was able to walk on my own,
We wondered down a couple of hallways,
Turned a left,
And came to a stop,
Inside an office,
She took a seat behind the desk,
And kind of stretched out,
"You know,
He was right,"
I sat confused,
"What do you mean?"
"The Overseer,
He was right,
There is a war coming,
But it isn't the war that he mentioned,
Not in the slightest,
Instead,
What he should have been trying to do,
Was partner with us,
Because the war that is on the horizon,
Is going to happen when They get here,"
I sat again,
Quiet,
"Who is They"
She turned as a screen slid out of the ceiling,
And a video started playing,
