IMPORTANT: If you are looking for a thorough review of everything in your story, this isn't the right place. I give first-impression reviews, meaning I try to help you retain readers by pointing out what it is that may be driving them away. That said, I typically only read the first three chapters of any book if it doesn't interest me and base my review on that considering those are the very first, most crucial chapters of a story. If it does, I may read more and review them, and/or I may read more at my own discretion.

BEFORE COMMENTING, PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS AND TAKE A GLANCE AT OTHER REVIEWS I'VE POSTED SO THAT YOU KNOW SORT OF WHAT YOU'LL GET.

Hey! Welcome.

About me:

I'm not new to the book review world, I had a pretty popular book several of years ago on a different account, and I've reviewed college essays/stories and the like since roughly 2015. I've been writing for a few years on and off, more back then than I do now, but throughout that time I think I may have picked up a few tips and tricks that I would love to share with you all.

What's the book for?

This book review book is for helpful criticism, if you can even call it criticism. Here you can request for a review using the format I will list below, and I may accept or decline your request. I will probably be accepting them all except fanfiction (my number of fandoms is limited), random, poetry, and fantasy; the only times I might decline would be if the book is in another language or maybe some special circumstance. The password is jimmy and saul are the same person. I will read the first three chapters of your story and give the review based upon my first impression. Also, the review is not accepted until I reply accepted and add you to the queue. Remember, once you've been added to the queue, you need to acknowledge that you have been added by commenting something like "thanks" or "cool, can't wait," anything. Until you have, you will remain at the bottom of the queue.

What do I ask in return?

Nothing. Nothing at all. I would appreciate a follow, of course I would, but I'm not going to ask you to read my book or comment on my stuff because my reads and my comments, I would prefer them to be genuine. If you do want to go do all of that, however, I would appreciate it greatly helpful criticism is also appreciated.

What's the catch?

No catch. However, honesty is the best policy and if I offend anybody, I'm very sorry, but you signed up for this and I'd appreciate reciprocity with the respect that I show you and anybody else I happen to interact with.

I don't believe in there being a bad book, but I do believe that everyone can always improve, so there will be no soul-crushing, "you suck" kind of reviews in this book. We're all here to have fun, right? Let's keep it a friendly and respectful place.

Anything else?

Just please don't request reviews for books that aren't yours, the author may not want criticism and I'm not trying to fight anybody. I'll try to get them done as soon as possible, but to be safe, I'll say the review should be done within a few days that it's requested. I'll pm you personally if there will be any delays.

REQUIREMENTS

Although there is no payment, in order to ensure that you know what you're getting yourself into (and to provide some publicity for other authors, I have but one requirement: read and comment on at least three other reviews that I have posted. It doesn't have to be anything deep, just a few thoughts that you may have regarding anything in the review. You can comment about the advice I gave, about the blurb of the story I reviewed, or your opinion on any opinions I may have voice; you can talk about literally anything, but make sure it is a comment that proves you've read the review. It can't be anything generic.

**I deleted all other reviews in this book, so if nothing is posted don't worry about the requirement, but if something is posted then the requirement applies.**

REQUEST FORMAT/FORM

*Title:

*Synopsis: (aka, a very very brief summary. sum it up in twenty words or less please. pique my interest with a short sentence; a brick of a summary will scare me off, i'm telling you now; don't copy-paste your blurb)

*Reason: (why you would like this book to be reviewed)

*Have you completed the requirements? (Just a yes or a no is enough, don't type out the whole question)

X: (anything extra, such as "this is a long book," or "this book is mature," or anything brief you'd like to say)

I tried to keep the format as simple as possible (don't want anyone getting carpal tunnel), but the ones with the * are required. The X is for you to use at your disposal, although I would like to know if it's a long book or it is mature. Please make sure that the book you are requesting a review for is on your profile. Don't forget to add the password to your form. Remember: Keep the requests as short and sweet as possible. The last thing that I want is clutter, and I know that the last thing you want is to type out a whole novel in the comment section.

How do I make a request?

Comment your request in the format given, in-line comments only please. That'll help me keep organized. If it's not an in-line comment it will not be acknowledged.

POST YOUR REQUESTS ON THE LINE BELOW ACCORDING TO THE MONTH IN WHICH YOU ARE REQUESTING:

Alright, I think that's about it. Thanks for reading and I hope to see some requests coming in. Have a nice day, everybody!
