"It's alright now. The enemy is retreating."
The fights were over and all the manticores where finally rescued. Thanks to the help of the gorgon tribe and the hermit tribe, an isolation barrier will soon be created, with the divine staves that were given to them alongside with the manticores, protecting them from a potential come back from the Orthodox church.
Still, a bitter atmosphere was left on Solomon's side. He wasn't able to make his enemies realise their mistakes. Even after being defeated, they were still willing to give their lives away for the Orthodox church.
Sheba was staring worriedly at Solomon. What if the other species don't accept his point of view? Will it end up like before, with the magicians?
"Human."
Raising his paw, Agares asked for the right to speak.
"What is it, Agares?"
And Solomon gave him without a second though.
"We are really surprised about this 'Alma Torran' proposal you present. And we are really confused as well. Because... We will never be on equal terms with humans. Humans are too different from us- "
"Agares, you're overthinking things."
Laying on the head of the manticore, a familiar (h/c) haired girl cut him off.
"Instead of focusing on what separates us, why don't you look at what we have in common?"
"But we don't have anything in common."
"Oh yes we do~ For example: Do you love me?"
The manticore was left speechless. Since he had met that human, it happened a lot. This one had the ability to counter every existing logic. After recovering from her rather strange question, he answered.
"...Well, I guess I do."
"Solomon! He said he loves me!!"
With eyes sparkling, (Y/N) looked back towards Solomon, who gave her a thumb up. He then pursued his speech.
"The thing we have in common is love. It is not such an exaggerated idea. For example, I know that any cruel and demonic magician would show his good side to his wife and children."
"And if you need another proof of this, you just have to look at me."
Cutting short Solomon again, (Y/N) sat back on the nose of Agares.
"If we only talk about physical appearance, then yes we are different in a lot of points. But I love you and you love me back. For me it's just the proof that you are my equal, my friend and probably one of the cutest things that has ever existed. No matter how much you hate those differences between us, mutual understanding is possible. And you are the perfect example."
"Indeed. We love and suffer in the same way. That's our only guidepost. We cannot be certain about God. So it should be fine to choose the way we want to live our life on our own... Let's do this together. Let's change the world together, in a place that will be ours... and where anyone can live proudly!"
Raising their fist in the air, a massive cheering came from all the audience. Some tears were shed, but it was only pure bliss. Solomon's word made all the incertitude's disappear. It was now time to move forward, to seek a brighter future.
Sheba stared in aw at Solomon. He was able to brighten their minds, giving so much self confidence in so many people. Indeed, he was amazing and now the person she was looking up to the most.

(Y/N) was walking inside the empty halls of the HQ. With the welcoming of the manticore tribe inside the resistance and the creation of the isolation barrier, everyone was busy. She was left alone, since she wasn't able to do any magic.
"(Y/N), we need to talk."
Quickly turning back towards the voice, (Y/N) face a familiar blue haired man, with a frown on his face.
"...I can't escape, can I?"
"No you can't."
Turning back in her opposite direction, he waved at her to follow him. The atmosphere was tense. It won't be a pleasant talk. Reaching the resistance leader's room, they both entered and closed the door behind them. Facing each other while sitting at a table, the interrogatory could finally begin.
"First of all, thank you for your help back then. Your support was much appreciated."
"Let's not waist time in this. Go straight to the point."
"...Fine. Then who are you?"
"Does the appellation 'faded one' tells you something?"
"I remembered it was with this that the isolation barriers were created."
"Yeah, that's me."
Staring at her with a confused expression, Solomon found it quite hard to believe.
"The name 'faded one' is coming from the fact that I can erase any magic that comes in contact with me. I'm the one they consider as forgotten by god, a creature who isn't even human, since I eliminate everything that is supposedly coming from their beloved father. Your little isolation barriers were created after using my body as a test subject. They used me when I was still a child, telling me that it was my purpose or something. And after understanding how it worked, some magicians managed to reproduce the effect, with a large amount of power needed. After a while, since I wasn't useful any longer, they tried reaching the limit of this power, resulting in this."
She removed her shirt, revealing a great number of scars, all over her body, with some that weren't properly healed and others rather large, covering a whole part of her skin.
"One day they thought that they finally killed me, so they threw me away on deserted lands, leaving my body to vultures and stuff. But I was still alive, so I managed to survive and here I am now."
When Solomon was still with his father, inside the Orthodox church, he never learned about such a thing happening. But it could explain who that little girl always surrounded by magicians was. He recalled something like this, when he was still a child.
"I guess you know who I am, then."
"I remember a kid with the exact same hair colour than you, and he was always glued to David's robes every time I saw him. He was accompanying him when he was checking out how the research were going. So I presumed it was his son. Am I not right? Solomon Jehoahaz Abraham."
Her voice, as well as her eyes were cold. It was easy to tell that she held a grudge against his father, and it was justified. Solomon felt guilty. He was there, he saw her and yet he didn't do anything. He could only avert his eyes, not looking at her anymore, with his locks covering his face.
"Don't make such a face. What happened to me isn't your fault. You were barely older than me back then. Plus, from what I saw, you're nothing like your father. Even if you're related to that bitch, it doesn't mean that you'll end up like him. You're you before being his son."
Looking back at her, her cold expression had vanished and was replaced by a warm smile.
"Any other questions?"
He smiled back at her. Solomon was glad that at least, their friendship was safe.
"Well, I know how you erased the spell on the young manticore, that you were the one responsible of Sheba's confession and- Ah, you didn't tell me what was KKK."
"Are you sure you want to know about that? It could erase all the hope you placed in humanity."
"I don't think it could be worst than the Orthodox church."
"Oh boy, you have no idea."
