KURT: You and Kurt had been broken up for nearly three months. It had been the longest three months of your life, and you spent everyday wondering about him, praying to God that he was okay. One night as you stood in your kitchen, stirring a bowl of ramen noodles, you heard an abrupt knocking on your door. You tentatively answered, cautious of who the unexpected visitor was. There stood Kurt, soaking wet from an evening rain shower with bloodshot eyes. "Y/n," he blurted. You blinked, before finally responding. "Kurt? What are you doing?" He began to shake and cry, trembling from head to toe. You grabbed him and pulled him inside, leading him to the couch. "What is it?" you demanded worriedly, snatching a blanket and wrapping it around him. "I need you," he cried, his voice small. "I'm trying so fucking hard to get off that shit but I need you. I can't do this without you." Something about the way he spoke resonated with you, and you couldn't help but rope you arms around him. "I'm right here," you whispered, holding him tightly and kissing his head as he cried into your chest.

DAVE: It had been exactly a month since you ended things with Dave. You'd been doing everything in your power to forget him, but erasing him from your life was like dousing water on a permanent stain— except Dave had stained your life with love and humor and fun. Kurt talked you into attending one of Nirvana's local shows one night, insisting that you come to support them despite the trouble with Dave. With a little convincing, you obliged, and went dressed and prepared to the gig. The boys played marvelously, and if it weren't for the heartache you felt every time you saw Dave behind his drum set, you would have been totally ecstatic. At the end of the show, Kurt approached the mike, waving the rowdy crowd down. "Alright, alright, everyone settle the fuck down. We're doing something fucking different tonight." You knitted your brows together, confused. Dave stood up, meeting Kurt at the front of the stage. "This idiot right here has a very special message for a girl out there in the audience tonight." Fuck no, he's not doing this, you thought to yourself. Krist and Dave began the opening notes to "Can't Fight This Feeling" by REO Speedwagon as Dave took the mike. And just like that, he was singing to you and only you, finding you in the audience and singing (very purposely off key, you might add) in your direction. The crowd caught on, shoving you forward until you were at the foot of the stage. Dave crouched down, wailing away to the song and leaving you red in the face. Once it ended to the sound of roaring applause, you were gritting your teeth but fighting a smile. "Forgive me?" Dave asked you with a small grin. "You little bitch," you retorted, but nonetheless grabbing his face and pulling him forward for a kiss.

KRIST: Getting over Krist was next to impossible. Only two weeks had passed since you guys had ended things, and you had been utterly miserable. Your two friends had insisted on taking you out for pizza in order to get you out of the house. You sat in the pizza parlor, sadly looking down at your pizza slice and wishing you were anywhere but there. "Oh shit," one of your friends muttered under her breath. The chiming of the parlor's door opening caught your attention and you turned around. Your stomach automatically twisted into knots. Krist was walking in shyly, his hands tucked into his jean pockets. You both made eye contact, and you looked away, biting your lip. "Maybe we should go," your other friend suggested, not minding the whole pan of pizza left in front of you three. "It's fine," you whispered back with a shrug, picking apart your pizza crust. "Don't look now, but he's walking over here," your friend breathed, her eyes widening. Sure enough, Krist appeared at your table and nervously cleared his throat. "Uh, hey. Do you guys care if I talk to y/n alone? I'm really sorry to interrupt your dinner." Your friends looked to you for the answer, and you responded with a curt nod. They both got up and wandered to the front of the parlor. Krist sat down across from you. "What's up?" you asked nonchalantly. "What's up is that I miss you. And that no one else on this Earth can replace you in my life. There will never be another you, y/n. I've never felt this way about anyone. Ever." You were quiet for a minute before meeting Krist's eyes. "Not even Shelli?" you said softly. "Definitely not," he affirmed. You sucked in a deep breath of air. "So now what?" you asked. "Would you have me back? I understand if that's not what you want. But know I am loyal to you and only you. You're my world, y/n." It didn't take long for you to make a decision. You slid your hand across the table, taking Krist's in yours. "And you're mine," you said with a small but blossoming smile.
