This chapter is dedicated to the lovely freya_xo because she is awesome. Also because she made me some wicked covers and the kick ass banner at the side of this chapter :D

Disclaimer: Once again, the song in this chapter does not belong to me.

From my table center stage I was able to watch Everything Roni quickly fill up with students from school who were here to see the show. A few people waved hi to me, and a girl who had been in my homeroom since middle school stopped to talk, but nobody joined me.

Everyone who was here to perform was crowded up on the small stage around Decklan. He had a clipboard in his hand and was informing everyone on when they would be up. A tall lanky boy with tight dark clothes and a large amount of piercings was arguing with him. Decklan frowned and said something back. The boy flipped him off before storming off stage.

I watched Decklan as he sighed and ran a hand through his hair in frustration. Then, he looked up and caught my eye. I waved at him and he smiled in return. It made me shiver.

Everything okay? I mouthed to him, pretending to act as if one look from him didn’t affect me so much.

Now it is, he mouthed back. Decklan stared at me for a moment longer before Luke called for him and he quickly turned his attention back to the work at hand. When he looked away, I let out the deep breath of air that I had been holding and smiled as a warm, fuzzy feeling started to spread through me.

A loud thump on the table startled me from the content moment that I was savoring. I jumped in my seat and the hairs on the back of my neck rose up as I felt a demanding presence next to me. I didn’t have to turn to know who it was. The Prada bag on the table gave it away.

“Day dreaming, Mikey?” she cooed.

You can do this, I told myself. Be brave and strong. She can’t hurt me. Then I turned to face her.

CC was standing behind me with a hand on her hip and her clones were in tow behind her. Tonight she was wearing a bright red halter-top, a black leather mini skirt and strappy heals that reached mid calf. She looked like a hooker…  a goddess hooker.

“Like what you see?” she asked and fluffed up her hair as I stared at her in amazement. I was trying to figure out how she was even able to move in that skirt and heal combo. If she bent down even an inch that whole world would she her… well, everything.

“What do you want, CC?” I asked coolly. Wow, I thought to myself that actually sounded pretty good. Even so, I could still feel my hands tremble under the table. To keep my calm, I turned back to the stage to watch Decklan. There was no way I was going to let CC ruin my mood tonight.

“You’re at my table,” she snapped as if I were the stupidest person in the world.

“I’m pretty sure I was here first,” I said without meeting her eyes.

“She was here like and hour ago,” the girl who was standing next to CC said. The queen bee shot the girl a nasty look and she quickly added, “but I think she was like stalking Decklan or something.” I blushed, remembering her from the first group of girls that arrived at the restaurant.
