Happy Friday! And happy back to school for parents, returning and new students too!
Okay, this chapter is a little short but we're almost to the end. I hope you've been enjoying reading the Foreseen novellas. And about the sultry, beautiful black and women of color heroines featured.
Though I've been suffering from writer's block, I hope to have ready the final chapter of "Foreseen 4: With a Touch" published on Wattpad next week Friday. It's a hope I'm going to work hard and strive to make happen. I've also planned to publish the bonus short, "Taming the Beast," featuring Keisha Anders from "Foreseen 1: Love Lines" in parts throughout the day the following Friday. So look forward to that.
Without further ado, here's ch8. And as always, would truly appreciate if you'd vote or comment. Or share the story on Twitter using the hashtags #amreading and #wattys2018 to show your Wattys support!
The first string of R. Kelly's "Step in the Name of Love" belted out of Jenna's mouth and once again Felicite' thought Jenna would've had a shot at winning The Voice when David drew her out of her thoughts.
"She's really good."
His nearness made her weak and Felicite' tried not to look at him. Virginia's birthday affair was semi formal and already she'd nearly mauled the man when she saw him. The crisp white button down shirt highlighted the blue of his eyes making it as bright and blue as a cloudless sky. She didn't know if he'd done it on purpose but he left three buttons opened, drawing her attention and tantalizing her with the sexiest adams apple and neck she'd ever seen. His black slacks and jacket molded to his muscular thighs and chest and arms to perfection she never wanted more to divulge a man of his clothes and have her hands roam all over his body.
Felicite' mentally shook her head. Now wasn't the time time to imagine slowly stripping away David's clothes. Someone here either knew the truth or was responsible about the theft she was accused of. It deserved every bit of her concentration. No matter how intoxicating his woodsy and manly smell and his heated body made her crazy with want.
"Yeah, she is."
David handed her a drink, a champagne cocktail with an orange slice and maraschino cherry and nodded towards Jenna who looked stunning in a rose 1940's inspired dress with flowy cap sleeves and a-line skirt that swished everytime she moved.
