Emma's pov:

It was about two days after the incident. I hadn't talked to anyone. Not mom, Hunter, Cisco, Ralph, Harry, Caitlin, grandpa Joe, and especially not dad. I mean I had always known grandpa was murdered. They didn't hide that from me. I  just never knew it was by a speedster. I just don't know what to do. I sat in silence in my room. The awful scene still running through my head. I was trying to figure out why it was bothering me so much. I kept coming back to the conclusion... dad. I had never seen him like that. Ever. And it just bothered me. I hope I never have to experience anything like that ever again. My thoughts were interrupted by the ding of my phone. I picked it up to see who had texted me. 'Are you ok?' It read. It was from hunter. I opened it and texted him back. 'Yeah' I sent it and turned my phone off. Everyone knew I wasn't. I needed to get help. I grabbed a string tie bag. Threw my phone, a portable charger, and a jacket into the bag. I snuck downstairs. When I got to the bottom of the steps I could hear mom and dad talking. I peeked around the corner and saw them on the couch. "I'm worried about her Barry." I heard mom say. "Me too." Dad said back. They had tried to come in and talk to me but I had locked my room door. I walked back upstairs to my room. I had an idea. I walked unto the balcony that was attached to my room. "I hope this works." I said to myself out loud. I've never tried it before, but I had seen dad so it plenty of times. I put my bag on my back and got ready. "1...2...3!" I bolted up the side of the buliding! When I got to the roof I stopped.  "Woah... It worked!" I said and smiled to myself. "Now hopefully I can go down without killing myself." I said backing up a bit. "Here it goes." I say getting ready. Then I took off! It was so amazing! I got to the bottom of the buliding and just kept running! It felt amazing! I loved running using my speed but I wasn't really allowed to unless I was at star labs. I ran until my feet hurt, I ran all over central city, and the country side! It felt so great. I found a spot to rest and sat down. When I caught my breath I got up and ran to star labs. I tried to open the door but it was locked. The one time I needed Ralph to forget to lock up. I facepalmed and just phased through the wall. "Another advantage of having the flash as a dad." I said to myself with a smile. "Though it also has it's disadvantages." I say walking over to the computer panel. I didn't really know what I was doing... but I needed to do a scan for someone I had heard about. She wasn't exactly the best option but I needed someone. I started a scan. While I waited I sat down in Cisco's wheelie chair and spun around. A few minutes passed by and the computer was still searching. "What are you doing Allen?" I heard Harry say from behind me. I turned around in the chair so fast I almost fell out. "Nothing..." I say. "Really?" He crossed his arms. I did an awkward smile. "I couldn't sleep so I thought I would come play some games on the computer..." I say. "So you came all the way here at 11:00 at night, to play video games." He walked over to the computer to see what I was actually doing. "Who are you searching for?" He asked looking at me. Great. "I'm just looking for someone to... help... me." I say quietly. "To help you? What do you need help with?" He said it in a tone I had never heard from Harry before. I think his dad side was showing or something. "Just a problem I have..." I say. "Ok. Well could I help?" He asked. "No. But thanks. It's kind of a speedster thing." I say with a little smile. "Then the perfect person to help with that is your dad." He said. I'm pretty sure I saw a little smile on his face. "Well... The problem is dad." I said. Then the computer beeped. It finally found who I was looking for. "Oh." He said a bit surprised. "Well good luck with that. " he stood up and walked away. "Thanks." I whispered. I sent the location to my phone and zoomed out. Time to get my help.
