Jennie sighed before dropping her head into her hands which were leaning on the desk in front of her. Her exams were coming up and all the revision she was doing was hurting her head but she was so scared of failing that she wouldn't take a break. Sometimes she even forgot to eat and wouldn't go to bed until 3am or later. To say her girlfriend was worried would be an understatement.

"Are you ok, Jennie?" Jisoo asked when she entered the room and saw Jennie looking extremely worn out and fed up.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," Jennie smiled before picking up her pen and going back to working in her text books.

"You don't look fine," Jisoo stated as she took a seat opposite her and studied Jennie's face. She had bags under her eyes and stressed out expressions.

"Wow, I feel so complimented," Jennie said with a sarcastic tone.

"I'm serious, Jennie. You look tired. How long did you sleep for last night?" Jisoo questioned.

"Uh, four hours? I don't know but it doesn't matter. I'll get back to sleeping normally once my exams are over, ok?" Jennie smiled briefly before looking back down at her book.

"What about food? When did you last eat?" Jisoo inquired as she nervously bit her lip. To tell the truth, she was scared of what the answer would be as she feared Jennie hadn't ate all day and it was already 5pm. If that was the case, Jisoo would blame herself for not realising and being such a bad girlfriend.

"Uh, I don't remember," Jennie shrugged.

A sigh escaped Jisoo's lips, "ok, well...have fun revising," she said as she got up from her seat and started to leave the room, an idea in mind.

Jennie nodded slowly before putting all of her focus onto the book in front of her.

Jisoo found herself standing in the middle of their kitchen, not entirely sure what she was going to do yet. She knew she was going to make Jennie a nice, somewhat fancy meal but Jisoo barely had any experience with cooking anything except standard meals.

After looking at the foods she had available in the fridge she decided she would make a spicy stir fried octopus because it didn't look too hard to make...or so she thought.

After two hours of great struggle, Jisoo found herself with a meal that looked somewhat appealing. "What matters is the taste though, right?" Jisoo shrugged as she tried some of the meal on her spoon. " doesn't taste bad!" Jisoo realised with joy before throwing the used spoon into the sink and starting to serve the meal into bowls. She quickly cleaned up a few pots and pans before placing the bowls on the kitchen table and laying cutlery beside them.

She practically skipped back to the room she had left Jennie in, feeling proud of herself and happy that she could do something nice for her girlfriend. "Jennie," Jisoo said in a sing-song voice as she pushed open the door.

"Hmm?" Jennie looked up to see her girlfriend smiling and she immediately smiled back, "what are you so happy about?"

"I made you a meal!" Jisoo stated proudly.

"You cooked something?" Jennie stared at her with a raised eyebrow. Jisoo nodded quickly. "Is it...edible?" Jennie teased.

"Of course it is! I even tried it myself," Jisoo glared.

"I'm just kidding," Jennie assured her as she got up from her seat and walked towards her girlfriend. "Thank you," she smiled before wrapping her arms around Jisoo's waist and kissing her on the forehead.

"You're welcome, now come and eat," Jisoo ordered as she took Jennie's hand and started to lead her into the small dining room.

Jennie looked impressed as her eyes lay upon the food that looked like a lot of a effort had been put into it. "Woah, this looks amazing, Jisoo!"

"Really?" Jisoo smiled hopefully as both girl sat down at the table.

"Really," Jennie confirmed before they both started to dig into their meal. Jennie nodded happily as she ate it. "Hmm, it's great! I didn't even know you could cook this well."

Jisoo blushed, "I didn't expect it to turn out this well," she admitted.

"Well, I love it, baby," Jennie smiled and leaned over the table to kiss Jisoo on the forehead.

Both girls continued to eat their meal and talk about everything from Jennie's upcoming exams to their favourite TV shows as they did so. Jisoo was over the moon. She felt like this was the first time her and Jennie had spent time together since Jennie started seriously revising for her exams two weeks ago.

Just as both girls had finished their food, their was a ping from the oven and Jisoo rushed in to the kitchen to go and get something out of it. Jennie had no idea what it could be so she patiently waited and mentally went over her exam notes, still stressing about them.

Jisoo happily took the sponge cake that she had made out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes. She then grabbed some icing tools from the other counter and the icing she had previously made.

When the cake was cool enough she started to cover it in a layer of white icing. Once that set she got the blue buttercream, which was in a tube, and started to ice the words "Good Luck, Jennie!" onto the cake.

She felt satisfied with her work and licked the icing off her fingers before walking back into the small dining room. Jennie smiled as soon as she saw Jisoo and her smile widened when she saw the cake in the girls hands.

As Jisoo placed it in front of Jennie, she read the writing and felt overcome with so much happiness that she had such a sweet girlfriend. "You're too cute," Jennie told the older as she got up to give her a hug. She squeezed her tightly as Jisoo felt like she was going to run out of oxygen.

"T-thank you, but you're suffocating me!" Jisoo stated with a chuckle.

"Oh, sorry," Jennie pulled away.

"Jennie, are you crying!?" Jisoo gasped as she noticed the tears in the younger girls eyes.

"W-what? No, pfft," Jennie chuckled and quickly turned away to wipe her glossy eyes, " something in them."

"Ok, whatever you say," Jisoo rolled her eyes, "now I suggest you eat your cake before I eat it all."

"Ok, baby," Jennie smiled with adoration in her eyes as she looked back at her amazing girlfriend. Jisoo blushed but she didn't mind Jennie's staring, it made her feel so loved.
