Staying The Night

Lauren's POV
*3 hours later*

Jesus.... what happened?

"You're in your room, Miss. Jauregui.", a feminine voice spread through the room.

"Who are you?", I asked dazily.

I woke up with a sore spot on my arm. My head was killing me and I couldn't seem to remember what happened.

"I'm officer Lovato. I'm head of security here at the institution. Normani had asked me to keep an eye on you until you woke up.", the women said, stepping a little closer.

"I'm still here? Wait... I just saw Normani. What happened?", I asked.

"You started getting hostile, so as a safety procedure, the doctors had to sedate you.", Officer Lovato explained the events.

"So they think I'm insane now?", I asked bluntly.

"No, but for everyone's safety yelling usually triggers most of these psychos in here so they had to calm you. Even if it meant to put you asleep.", Officer Lovato reassured me.

"Where are my siblings?", I asked, realizing the time.

"You're siblings are fine. A friend of yours came by to pick them up after we called.", she said.

"Who?", I asked.

"I believe his name is Tyrone.", Officer Lovato recalling the name.

"Yeah he's a friend. How'd you get his number?", I asked.

"We looked through your contacts on your phone, we have a warrant, but don't worry we didn't look through anything else just your contacts.", Officer Lovato said.

"Not saying Ty was a bad choice to call, but why him?", I asked curiously.

"Well his contact name was "best friend" so it sounded trustworthy.", Officer Lovato explained.

"He was worried about you. We told him what had happened. We told him that you would call him when you wake up, but only if you'd like.", Officer Lovato suggested.

"Yes, I'd like to call him.", I said.

"Very well, your phone is in the top drawer next to your bed, I'll be outside in the hall.", Officer Lovato said and exited the room.

I turned over to my side and saw a brown drawer near the bed. I reached for it and pull the handle of the top compartment to retrieve my phone. I reached inside, feeling around, once I felt the familiar touch of my phone. I grabbed it and turned it on. I put in my password, went to my contacts, and immediately went to Ty's number.

(L-Lauren T- Ty)

T-Lauren?
L-Hey Ty.
T-Lauren! Thank god you're ok! What happened to you?
L-Apparently I started to lash out on Mike's doctor and I got sedated. They put me in some room.
T-They think you're crazy?
L-No, it doesn't seem like the other rooms that the psycho people are staying in. It looks more homey and calm.
T-That's a relief.
L-Yeah.... how is Chris and Taylor?
T-They're fine. They've been watching movies. They miss you.
L-Tell them I miss them too.
T-I will. And since you're awake now, can you come home? I can pick you up.
L-I don't know. We'll see though. They've got some sort of system here that they gotta follow strictly. Who knows I might be staying here overnight.
T-What?! Are you serious?
L-Dead serious...
T-Wow. Will you be ok?
L-I'll be fine, just as long as they don't think I'm crazy. You don't mind watching Chris and Taylor overnight do you?
T-Of course not Lauren. I got your back.
L-Thank you Ty. I owe you.
T-You don't owe me anything Lauren. I'm just glad I can help.
L-Hey Ty, I gotta go they're knocking on my door.
T-No problem L, just be careful in a place like that.
L-I will don't worry.
T-I love you.
