It wasn't Luke's fault that things didn't work out with Ariana. 5 years ago they were inseparable, until Ariana started drinking. On Ariana's 22nd birthday she got so drunk that she hit Luke in the face. He was rushed to the ER and needed stitches above his left eyebrow. Luke had told Ariana not to drink anymore and that they would find other ways to have fun.

After they had been dating for 3 years Luke found out that Ariana had been drinking behind his back while he was at work. Luke signed her up for therapy sessions, but when one day she walked into her session drunk, her therapist took advantage of her and slept with her.

Luke couldn't deal with the pain of not knowing whether or not Ariana was in the right mind set, so they broke up and a year later Luke met his beautiful fiancée Carrie whom he was having a baby with. Luke still loved Ariana and he knew that, but he had a great life and didn't want to ruin it. He would soon be a dad and that meant the world to him.

2 months later

Arigb26: i heard that the baby was born

arigb26: is it a boy or a girl?

arigb26: i get that you don't want to speak to me

arigb26: i just miss you baby boy

arigb26: we were perfect

arigb26: and yea it's my fault

arigb26: i had to become a drunk piece of garbage and ruin everything

arigb26: i haven't had a drink in 2 weeks

arigb26: are you proud?

arigb26: well i hope the baby is well

arigb26: send pics!

arigb26: bye sweet pea

AN: since it's been such a long time since i've written this story, the dream ending has completely shifted and i felt the need to change it, so i hope you guys don't mind. also i have caps off which is why this is lowercase😂
