"Guess what. We are all going on an all expense paid by me trip to Germany," Tony said walking into the common room. "We leave in 20 minutes."
Everyone looked at each other before going to get their things. Eve didn't have much to pack. She had one extra pair of pants and a shirt given to her by Natasha. She found a backpack in the closet of this room so she put the two things in the bag.
When she walked out of her room, she saw everyone else's duffel bags filled with clothes they had already packed for situations like these. Eve stood in the back and chewed on her lip. Everyone else has so many things, she felt out of place with her donated pants and shirt.
From the middle of the group, Bucky looked back to see the slightly uneasy look on Eve's face. He continued to stand in place as they all walked past him up to the quinjet. He began walking next to Eve as she looked up at him.
"You okay?" Bucky asked her quietly. Eve looked back ahead.
"Yeah I'm alright," she replied. Bucky threw his arm around her shoulder and pulled her a little closer.
"Everyone started out like you, it's okay," Bucky whispered in her ear. She gave him a soft smile at his words. He dropped his arm soon after, making Eve realize how long it'd been.
They were the last ones to board so they took a seat on the side of the jet.
After thirty minutes of flying, Eve's eyes began to feel heavy. She hadn't slept much the past couple days. Soon after, she was asleep with her head leaning back and to the side by Bucky. He noticed and kind of laughed. Bucky sat up a little straighter so she could rest her head on his shoulder.
Around two hours later, the jet hit a little bit of turbulence. The jet jolted around, spooking Eve awake. She instantly turned herself invisible as she sat up. This shook Bucky awake, making him quickly sit up to see an empty seat next to him. He reached out and felt Eve's arm.
"It's alright, just turbulence. Cap was never a good pilot," Bucky joked to get Eve back into sight.
"Hey, watch it, Buck," Cap said with a joking and warning look. He then winked a second later.
"Sorry, I've never been on a plane before," Eve said.
"Then maybe Steve wasn't the best pilot for your first time," Clint said smiling.
"Was is this? Pick on Steve day?" Cap said with fake hurt in his voice and a smile on his face.
"That's every day," Natasha said without looking at him while having a smirk on her face.
"Now kids, settle down we are almost there," Tony replied and began lowering the jet.
"Bucky," Eve whispered to try to wake him up. Bucky laid sprawled out on his bed while Eve sat at his side leaning over him. He was laying on his back in only a pair of pants. She put her hands on his arm and gently shook him.
"Bu–" is all Eve could get out before Bucky grabbed her and flipped her over himself. He pinned her down on his bed before realizing it was Eve.
"Hey," Eve said quietly as Bucky's eyes adjusted.
"Hey. What are you doing sneaking up on a winter soldier?" Bucky asked while climbing off of her. Eve sat up and Bucky stayed close to her. For a moment, he was nervous she heard him having a bad dream.
"It's my first night in Berlin, I don't want to sit in my room," Eve answered him as he looked over her face.
"What were you thinking?" Bucky asked her, but the way he asked made her think he was suggesting something. Eve debated for a moment and decided she wanted to kiss him. She liked him more than anything, but she was too nervous.
"Follow me," Eve whispered and got up off of the bed with Bucky closely behind her. They left his room and went down to the street to begin walking.
"You're full of amazing surprises," Bucky whispered partly to himself as they stumbled upon the Brandenburg Gate. The lights were glowing as the night blanketed the town. Bucky looked at her while they continued walking through the gate.
"I'd like to think so," Eve replied. Occasionally Eve would nudge him while walking which would make Bucky smile. "Who would have thought a winter soldier would be the best tag along."
"Tag along? If I'm not mistaken, I was invited," Bucky joked. "It's not like we had to leave to see the main attraction," Bucky added right before he grabbed her hand and pulled her into the tight alleyway. He pushed her up against the wall and put his chest against hers, leaving no room between them. She looked at him as he watched the street as two men stood in the middle of the street. Eve didn't have the heart to tell him they were already invisible.
"They were sketching me out," Bucky whispered quietly as he leaned down and spoke in her ear. His face lingered near hers before she couldn't take it. Eve leaned up and kissed his lips.
Bucky wasn't shocked, he has been waiting for her too. He kissed her back and moved her head to lean against the wall. Slowly, they both pulled back and looked at each other again. Bucky never stepped back.
"We've been invisible this entire time," Eve confessed as a smile lingered on her face. Bucky smirked as he answered her.
"We're invisible?" Eve nodded and looked back at his lips. "Great," Bucky whispered, kissing her again while placing one hand after another on the back of her thighs to pick her up and push her against the wall. Her hands found their way to his chest, then up to his neck, then into his hair.
Bucky stepped forward, kicking a can, making both Eve and Bucky pull back and look at the men. They both turned to look at the sound. As they began approaching, Bucky let Eve down and grabbed her hand to lead her away.
Soon they were back on the street so Bucky put his arm around her shoulder.
"Did you want to do anything else on your first night in Berlin?" He asked her.
"No, I did exactly what I wanted to do."
