Yuka woke up and realised that his body was different from usual.

It was weak. Very weak. And, it felt unusual for some other reason he could not make out.

He closed his eyes and found out the root cause of his weakness. A large part of his internal Energy from his core was missing.

He tried to get up on two feet but felt that it was difficult to keep upright. He swayed and fell down on all fours, but weirdly, this felt more natural.

Yuka looked down and saw two paws, both armed with intimidating claws as weapons.

'SYSTEM!'

Yuka roared in his head.

[Yes host?]

'Why am I a freaking animal?! You said that the Gods were the ones that made my body, so that means they are making fun of me, right?!'

[N-no, host. The Gods t-thought that you were too overpowered so they made it so that you would not complete the m-missions easily. So in this case, they think that host is very powerful.] Gods! Host is scary! QAQ

'Why didn't you warn me about this first?! And what about my internal Energy? Why is there a big hole missing?!'

[It's for the same reason as to why host's body is an animal. Host is too OP with your large reserve of Energy . And even if they left host only a portion of Energy of what host had at first, host is still more powerful that the other beings here in this world.]

Although Yuka is usually cool-headed, he will get pissed if he thinks someone is looking down on him.

'And how do I get back my internal Energy? Is it by completing missions?'

[Yep! Every time host finds a Random Missions and completes it, host will recover 1% of his initial Energy back.]

*Sigh*

Yuka huffed. 'What are the missions?'

[Glad host asked!

Main Missions:

Kill 1 million zombies — 1000 points

Save and accompany Xia LuoXun to any base — 1000 points

Protect the base Xia LuoXun is in from a zombie tide of at least 5000 zombies (number of zombies killed in this mission can be included in Main Mission 1) — 2000 points

Side Missions:

Find Dr. Rong WeiQi and bring him safely to any base — 200 points

Save more than 1 base — each base you save will give you 100 points

— Completing all Side Missions will reward you with 1% of your internal Energy

This is all the missions. Do you have any questions, host?]

'This world is an apocalypse world?' Yuka asked when he saw the word zombies.

[Yes host! But it has only been in this state for 6 months so zombies at stage 3 are only starting to appear and the average human evolution is level 2]

'And how strong is my body?'

[Answering host, your body strength is on par with level 5 humans or stage 4 zombies]

'Does this world have a plot?'

[Nope! This world does not have a plot. It is just a random world that does not have a protagonist or cannon fodders. This is decided by the Gods so that host can adjust to transmigrating without having to worry about a plot deviating too much from its path by host's interference.]
