Yadah yadah authors note stuff. I'll put the stuff tom cos is Juan in Deh morning

'I got so sick of being on my own', I thought, as I splashed water on my face, then gently tapping it with a towel.  Looking into the mirror, inspecting my dark bags under my eyes, my chapped lips, and now paler complexion. Using my index and middle finger, sliding over all these imperfections.

Now the devil won't leave me alone

"Seriously, no wonder that pretty Android doesn't like you, huh... I mean even though it's not human, it still would have standards", seeing my reflection talking and moving like it's another person.  "I-I'm going insane", I whispered to myself, as I grabbed my hair, and shook my head vigorously.  "Maybe you are... I mean being a lonely as you are...", my reflection responded with a malicious smile, "I would already be on the edge of death", it added, laughing insanely afterwards.  Making me slowly back up, and falling into my tub.  Wrapping myself in my arms, hurrying me head into my knees.  Rocking back and forth saying, "That's not true", over and I've again

~At crime scene~

It's almost like I found a friend

"Hello (y/n)",  I heard a voice behind me, making me trip over my shoes.  And drop all the files I was holding, "Crap", I muttered under my breath, picking up all the files.  "I'm sincerely sorry for that (y/n), I didn't mean to startle you", I heard the voice add, seeing someone helping to pick my files.  I looked up and saw it was Connor.

Who's in it for the bitter end

Making me stand up immediately, dust off my clothes, however I still tripped, but luckily I landed on Connor.  Which gave me a polite smile as a response, making me blush furiously.  "I would recommend for you to work on your balance", Connor said, making me laugh nervously in response and stand up.  Missing his hands on my arms.

"So ready for this case", I said rubbing my hands together. "Yes", Connor responded.

Our conscience

Looking at the crime scene, me and Connor observed together closely.  It always made me happy, working with Connor.  As it doesn't make me feel lonely, even though he doesn't feel something back.  Making me shake my head.

Connor noticing this action, and saying, "Are you alright, you've seem... different over the past weeks", something showing in his eyes... maybe empathy?  No. No. No, it's probably the light reflecting off his brown eyes.  "Oh, no! I've been fine, ju-just ya' know, been stressed out and stuff", I answered.  Connor not believing a word, but chose to ignore it.

Me wanting to change the subject, I pointed at a blue stain on the kitchen counter.  "Hey Hank is in the other room, you can have a lick at it", I whispered jokingly, making Connor nod and swipe the blood.  Putting it against his tongue.

"It seems that this blood is not old, it seems to be quite fresh", Connor said statistically, making me cringe a little bit.  "Hey, (y/n)! Connor! What did you guys get so far?", Hank said walking into the kitchen.  Connor looking at me for approval to say the information he perceived.

Are always so much heavier than our egos

Me being the shy person I was, didn't want to mess this up in front of Hank, so I nodded in response for Connor.  Making Connor turn his head to Hank, and explain what he thought had happened in this crime scene.
