I walk back into my bunker to tell both my mom and my sister where I'm going.
"Katniss!" My mom smiles. "How was the propos?"
"They were awful." I admit grabbing my stuff. "They're sending me to district 8 for better footage."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Prim asks while walking into the room.
"I'll be fine little duck." I say as I brush my fingers through her hair.
"Katniss, I have to agree with Prim on this." My mother says.
"I have to go mom." I explain. "It's the only way I'm going to get Peeta back."
My mom frowns and looks towards my stomach.
"You're 6 months pregnant Katniss." She says
"I'll be fine!" I spit back making her jump.
"Katniss..." Prim says grabbing my arm.
I tug out of her grasp and make my way towards the door. I turn back to see both Prim and my mother frowning, tears swelling in their eyes. I don't say anything, I just turn and walk out the door.

The elevator door opens and I walk towards the hovercraft. Gale awaits for me before he boards.
"Are you sure about this?" He asks.
"I have to Gale, I have to get Peeta back." I explain.
He frowns and looks towards the ground. I know Gale still has feelings for me but I've made my mind on who I want, and that's Peeta.
"Katniss, this is your propo team." Boggs says.
I look towards the group of capitol people and give a slight nod.
"I'm Cressida" one of them smiles. "That's Messalla, Pollux, and Castor."
"Nice to meet you all of you." I say as I board the hovercraft.

The flight out to District 8 wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I slept for most of it since I'm always drained because of my pregnancy.
"We're here." Boggs says as the hovercraft lowers to the ground.
"We're going to go to the hospital first." Cressida says "those people need to see you Katniss."
"I can't help them though." I frown.
"They just need to see your face." Gale says "you'll give them hope."
I give a slight nod as I walk into the hospital. One of the nurses comes running up to us and greets herself.
"I'm glad you've came here Mockingjay." She smiles.
I give and smile back but my attention was drawn to all the lifeless bodies that lay in bags on the floor where we were at. My eyes start to water but I just keep walking.
"Here we are." The lady says as she opens the door.
The sight was terrible. Men, women, and children were terribly injured. Water began to fill in my eyes but I quickly wiped them away.
"I can't help them." I say looking towards everyone.
"Just show them your face." Cressida says giving me a reassuring smile.
I nod my head and slowly walk into the room. A few people glance towards me but obviously couldn't tell who I was. I get towards the center of the room until I hear my name from someone in the back.
"Katniss?"
I turn around and see a boy who looks about Prim's age behind me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I came to see all of you." I state with a smile.
"Are you here to fight with us.. Are you going to fight!" The boy says.
"I am, and I will." I say glaring over to an older woman.
"What about the baby?" She asks.
"We will both be okay." I say looking down towards my stomach.

After talking to a few people we started to make our way back to the hovercraft. That's when a siren went off.
"Bomb alarm." One of the soldiers said. "Get them to the bunker."
We started to run towards the bunker until I see the capitols hovercraft move towards the hospital.
"Wait!" I scream running up the stairs to the roof of the building.
"Katniss!" Gale screams.
I reach the top and soon Gale grabs me by the arm.
"Katniss, stop, it's too dangerous up here." He yells as the planes fly by us.
"They're going towards the hospital." I say as I draw my arrows.
"Katniss!" Gale screams louder.
I wasn't listening. I drew a red arrow that Beetee made and I put it in my bow. I aimed towards the plane and fired.
"Katniss we need to go!" Gale screamed while grabbing my arm.
The plane burst into flames and knocked into another plane causing both to crash. It wasn't enough though. The hospital was still hit.

I rushed down to the ground where everyone was standing and ran towards the hospital that was in flames.
"Save them! Somebody help them!" I cried while looking.
Everyone was silent. No one knew what to say.
I turned around and saw Cressida recording.
"Katniss tell us what just happened. What are you feeling." She states.
"My name is Katniss Everdeen. I'm here in district 8 where the capitol just bombed a hospital filled with unarmed men, women, and children. There will be no survivors. If you think for a minute that the capitol will ever treat us fairly, you are lying to yourself!"
I turn my head towards the flames and looked back towards the camera.
"I have a message for President Snow. Fire is catching, and if we burn you burn with us!"
