"Louis wake up!" I shouted, shaking him frantically as I pulled on my dress over my underwear. I trapped my skin in the process of doing my dress up and cursed loudly which eventually stirred him.

"What's going on?" he mumbled sleepily, rubbing his eyes with his fists.

"What's going on is we slept together and I have a boyfriend!" I cried desperately, searching for my purse.

"Shit..." he whispered but not making any move to get out of bed.

"Louis this is more serious than 'shit'. I cheated on him! I'm such a bad person I..."

"Eavey shut up!" he suddenly snapped, cutting off my frantic babbling.

"I'm not going to shut up! Its gone 9am and Niall is calling me worried and I still haven't worked out what I'm going to say!" I retorted, pacing back and forth.

"You can't tell him the truth Eavey, it will break his heart. And he will go apeshit at me and do you want to be the reason that One Direction breaks up?! That's how serious this could be!" he stood up now, coming closer to warn me on the seriousness of the situation. As if I didn't already know.

"Can you put some underwear on? Don't lecture me on how this is serious, don't you think I know?!" I said.

"F'ck Eavey I'm not lecturing you I'm just trying to make sure you don't do anything stupid! And why are you distracted babe?" he replied with a smirk.

"Now is not the FUCKING time! I've already been stupid enough, look what I've done Louis!" I was literally pulling my hair out with the stress of what I'd done, but I couldn't look at Louis for long. He might bring out the words in me that I didn't want to say out loud.

"Eavey, you have to admit, this isn't stupid... Is it so wrong that I don't want this, whatever this twisted thing is that we have going on, to stop?" he asked me quietly, fiddling with his hands. I hopped from one foot to another, deliberating on what his question was, just so I didn't look like a bad person, but the answer was clear to me.

"I know..." I breathed out.

"So you feel the same?" he said quickly.

"I didn't say that!" I protested bitterly but my cheeks were flushing red, causing him to smirk.

"That's what you're thinking though, I can tell." he paused while I didn't reply, confirming his thoughts, "this doesn't have to stop Eavey, as long as me and you can keep our mouths shut, this could go on for as long as we want..." My heart started thudding crazily as I comprehended what he was saying.

"As in friends with benefits...?" I asked him slowly.

"Well, yeah." he said simply. I almost laughed at the oddness of this situation.

"So we still see other people but this is strictly private, between us? Absolutely no telling anyone?" I said to clarify.

"So is that a yes?" he raised his eyebrows at me.

"I didn't say that!"

"But I know you're thinking it..." he said with a grin.

"So tell me again exactly what happened to you?" Niall asked later that day. Louis and I took a cab back to where the tour bus was parked and were hit with a thousand and one questions. I told Niall I was too tired to explain right now but I would tell him later. I went to my bunk straight after and slept till three in the afternoon, I had had a busy night after all. Niall wanted to take me out for coffee as the boys had done a soundcheck while I was sleeping so he was free.

"Louis and I had one too many to drink, we weren't drunk, but we just couldn't get a cab so Louis said he would pay for a hotel room for us, and we stayed there and overslept. We didn't mean to worry you but my phone died, which is why I couldn't answer your calls..." I said smoothly while drinking my hot chocolate. I had ran over the story so many times in my head it was almost as if that was what happened.

"I was worried sick Eavey!" he pouted, but I knew he was only semi-serious.

"I'm sorry babe, it was just a set of circumstances that I couldn't help!" I apologised.

"Louis didn't try anything did he?!" Niall suddenly asked.

"No... Why would he?" I lied casually.

"I don't know, because you were drunk and he thinks you're hot." he told me.

"He... he does?" I asked him, trying to act as if I wasn't bothered, but my heart hammering under my sweater told a different story.

"Yeah, it annoys me, because you're mine, not his. You're my girlfriend." he smiled and kissed me over the table.

"Always." I entwined our hands over the table and smiled, pushing away the thoughts of Louis out of my head. Not making it any easier however, my phone buzzed in my bag and I pulled away from Niall and looked at the text.

when are you coming back? ;)

Typical Louis, texting me when I'm on a date with my boyfriend.

idk, missing me? ;)

Play it cool Eavey.

"Who is it?" Niall asked after he took a sip of his coffee.

"Oh..." think think think! "Just Layla, she is missing me is all!" Nice save.

i am i'm thinking about last night, me burying myself deep inside of you and how your lips were wrapped...

I stopped reading or I was going to be getting flashbacks that I should not be having whilst on a date with my boyfriend. I ignored the message and put my phone back in my pocket and rubbing my hands on my thighs to smooth out imaginary creases.

"Are you ready to go babe?" Niall asked me. No. That would mean seeing Louis and trying to have some self control for once in front of that boy.

"Sure." I said with a smile and let him take my hand as we strolled into the street.

Just breathe and f%cking stay alive Eavey.
