You're at home...
You can't stop thinking about him. You want to be talking to him right now. You'd missed him for so long; you can't take it anymore.
You're about to pick up your phone to call him when suddenly, your doorbell rings. You look up and go over to the door. You throw the door open without looking through the peephole. Your heart nearly stops when you see him standing in front of you.
"Hey. Long time no see," he says, smiling. His blue eyes shine in the light, and his brown hair looks soft. He looks so beautiful. You had missed him so much.
"Hey," you finally manage to say. "What are you doing here?"
"I needed to see you," he replies, smiling slightly.
"I missed you," you say softly, looking into his eyes.
"I missed you."
You can't stop yourself; you throw your arms around him, pulling him into a hug.
You missed him so much. It had been years since you'd seen him. You'd grown apart with time, but you still thought of him. He was one of your best friends. You had simply fallen out of touch after you graduated from university. You finally started talking again a few weeks ago, and all those past feelings started to resurface.
"God, I missed you so much," you say, your voice slightly muffled by your face in his shirt. His body is warm, and he smells so good. He pulls you closer; his arms enveloping you softly.
"I missed you more," he whispers, resting his cheek against the top of your head. You close your eyes, letting yourself enjoy the feeling of his arms around yours.
"I can't believe you're here," you say, looking up at him and meeting his eyes. He smiles as he looks to you. His eyes shine in the light; he truly looks ethereal in this moment.
"I just...I needed to see you," he says, still looking into your eyes.
It feels as though time stops. He starts to lean in, and you close your eyes. His lips meet yours. You've dreamt of this moment for years. You've always wanted to do this, and now, it's actually happening.
It's even better than you could have ever imagined. His lips are soft against yours, and you feel as though you're floating on air. His hands tangle in your hair, pulling you closer. You wrap your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.
He smiles against your lips, and you feel your heart flutter. You want to memorize the feeling of his lips against yours.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," he murmurs, his lips brushing yours slightly.
You smile, letting out a content breath as you press your forehead to his. You can't believe he's actually here. You can't believe you just kissed him. His scent envelops you; you absolutely love it.
It was worth the wait. It was so worth the wait.
You slowly pull apart, but you leave your arms around his neck, and his hands move to your hips. You bite your lip, your heart doing jumping jacks in your chest. He looks into your eyes, making your rapidly-beating heart skip a beat. His eyes are so incredibly beautiful.
"I just want to be with you," he murmurs.
"Then be with me," you reply, your eyes flickering to his lips once more.
He only smiles, and you lean in this time. Your lips meet once more. You could get used to this feeling. You want to melt into his arms and feel his warm body against yours forever.
You smile against his lips, letting yourself breathe him in. Your heart feels full; you've never been happier than you are in this moment.
When you pull apart, your heart feels light, and you're giddy.
"I like you so much," he whispers.
"I like you, too," you reply, looking into his blue eyes.
After a few years, you've already gotten married, and you're both irrevocably in love. You wouldn't trade it for the world.
I would love this
