Embarrassed

Hey my loves. I wanted to do a little series on here. It's about the sides most embarrassing moments as part of a family. They will all have their own parts. This is just for the laughs so it might get weird lol. Warning ⚠️: A little bit of angst at the beginning....Anyway let's get started.
All aboard the cringe train 🚂.

Third person/Virgil's POV
Virgil needed to calm down right now. There was just no escape. The walls were closing in on him, the floor was shaking, his chest was tightening. It was his fault. All his fault. If he would have remembered sooner then everything would be okay. Roman wouldn't have called him worthless. Logan wouldn't have called him stupid. And Patton wouldn't have stood there and watched it all happen. Stupid stupid stupid. He would never be able to look them in the eyes again .He began to pull at his hair as tears rolled down his face. Oh No. He could feel it happening. He could feel his fingers and toes start to tingle. He could feel his arms and legs begin to shake. Every thing around him started to make less sense. What's happening again? He lifted one of his hand in front of his face and saw that it was small and chubby. Now he really couldn't look the other sides in the eye, he was a short small baby. Everything looked so big and he felt so small. The darkness of his room wasn't helping either. "Dada!" He cried out. He tried to stand on his feet an realized that he was not yet able to walk. He kept stumbling over his feet but soon found a pattern. He wobbled his way to his door only to realize that all his hard work was for nothing. He was too short to reach the handle. He was stuck his his room without his dada. His little legs couldn't hold him any longer and he fell straight on his butt. This only made him more fussy and he stared to wale. "DADA DADA!" he cried. There was no use he was just going to be stuck in his room until he turned back to normal like usual.

Patton's POV
Was that crying he heard? It couldn't be, or maybe it could. It sounded like a baby. "DADA!" He heard the baby wale. Parent mode activated, he had to find this child. Where could he be? Why was he there? There were so many thoughts in his mind. He put down the cookies he was baking in the kitchen and went to search the halls. With each passing door the crying got louder. He suddenly came to a stop at a purple door. Virgil, It couldn't be. Why would he have a baby in his room? "Virgil, kiddo are you in there" he called out. "DADA!" He got in response. He knew that Virgil was upset but he didn't think he would be sad enough to cry like a baby. He hesitantly opened the door and poked his head inside. He saw nothing though. The crying had stopped as well. "Strange I could have sworn I heard a" his head suddenly snapped to look at the floor as he was interrupted. " Dada" the baby whined. Patton squealed as he saw how cute the little baby was. He looked to be about 2. His eyes widened as he realized that the baby had on eye shadow and an mini hoodie that looked just like Virgil's "oh dear, Virgil is that you?" he asked as he bent down to pick him up. The baby in his hands cocked his head to the side a looked at him innocently. He couldn't contain his self much longer "Your just so darn cute"he cooed at him. The Baby in hand gave him a glare. Yup this is definitely Virgil. Patton smiled in his face. Even as a baby Virgil could still have an attitude. This was a problem,Virgil was a baby. How would this affect Thomas? He needed to get to Logan fast. He walked two doors down to the logical traits room and knocked on the door. A few seconds later the trait opened up. "Salutations Patton, how may I-" he cut himself off as he looked at a baby Virgil in Patton's hands. "Logan how did you not hear him crying he was two doors down from you?" Patton asked quirking his eyebrow. "I simply thought he was throwing a tantrum over what happened earlier , but it seems that i was wrong considering" he gestured to the now sleeping baby cuddled in morality's arms. " Logan, I am surprised in you. You know that Virgil didn't mean to make Thomas freak out. How could you just let him cry in his room all alone!?" He said raising his voice a little. Virgil started to stir in his arms but Patton was to angry to notice. "Now that you bring that up it does seem wrong of me, I am sorry" Logan said and he looked down finding his shoes to be rather interesting. He remembered calling anxiety stupid after he had made Thomas freak out over forgetting to text back the person he had a crush on. They all had to calm Thomas down and it was very frustrating. In anger he had called him stupid and Roman had called him worthless. Now that he was in a better state of mind he could remember them ignoring him as he had a panic attack and watched him sink out into his room. They had all really screwed up. "Virgil is the one we need to apologize to" the parental said sternly. " I promise to make sure I will" Logan said nodding his head. "Let me take a look at him we need to know why this happened" Patton gently handed Virgil over to Logan. Apparently not gently enough because as soon as Virgil was no longer in his arms he woke up. He had the look of pure horror on  his face. "DADA NU!" He screamed as he struggled in Logan's grip. "Down down I wan down!" He whined as he continued to kick in all direction. Logan still refused to put him down as he made his way over to his desk with him. "DADA potty!" He screeched as his screaming intensified. He didn't have control over anything anymore , including his bladder. Logan's eyes widened as he looked over at Patton. "Let him go!" He panicked causing Logan to put the toddler on his feet. " come on anx let's go to the bathroom." He said rushed as he held out his hands . The toddler padded his way over as quickly as he could, Patton the lifted him up by the arms and ran into Logan's bathroom. Lucky they made it there is time. Virgil was so embarrassed that he had to be taken to the bathroom by the adult trait, he began to cry. "Oh shush it's okay verge" he said as he picked up the snot nosed child. He grabbed a tissue from the counter and held it up to Virgil's nose. "Blow" he said. Virgil complied easily and the job was done. There was only one thing left to do now. Patton put him down despite the tiny protest he got. He then conjured diapers in his hand. Virgil pouted, his Chubby cheeks making him look adorable. "You are going to have to wear these" he said hesitantly. The two year old shook his head. "Nu I don wan it" he whined but it was too late for his protest. With a snap of morality's fingers he was in a diaper. Virgil cried and cried. There was nothing Patton could do to stop him, he had tried everything that he had. Then an idea popped into his head with a snap of his fingers he conjured a pacifier, a purple sheep toy, and a purple onesie on to Virgil. He instantly stopped crying and looked around as he sucked on the pacifier."Pwetty" he giggles as he held up the sheep toy. If Patton had known that all that was needed to calm him down was a purple sheep he would have given him one a while ago. He picked up the young one and left the bathroom to return to Logan, who was sitting at his desk researching. "Have ya found anything kiddo" he asked siting on the traits bed. " In fact I have" Logan answered adjusting his glasses. "It seems to be a way of literally minimizing' anxiety and his effects. This also seems to be what happens when he is over stressed to prevent it from effecting thomas negatively." He explained. " So you mean this has happened before" Patton asked making the sheep dance in Virgil's face causing giggles to erupt from the little boy. "It would seem so" the answer he got back made him frown. Virgil must have had to deal with this on his own until now. He must have been so scared. "What can we do to get him back to normal"he asked as Virgil grabbed the toy from him and began chewing on its tail. Patton smiled down at him. He missed when Virgil was really this small. They all arrived as babies but they didn't stay that way for long. Each day they were a year older until they caught up to a certain age that they would grow regularly at.  they all look the same age, all grew to be the same age but they technically were not. Patton was born with Thomas so they have always been the same age. Logic came two years later, Roman came when Thomas was about four, and Virgil came around when Thomas was about 7 .it all came down to a science. Patton was 28, Logan was 26. Roman was 24, and Virgil was 21. Right now Virgil was 2 and Patton  was cherishing having a little baby around. "Well it says here that he should be back to normal by..." he paused to look at his watch. "Virgil is 21 correct?" He asked raising one eye brow. "Yes sir" Patton responded as he bounced the child on his knee. " he will grow 2 years by the hour , so in 9 hours he will be almost back to normal" he stated fixing his glasses and neck tie. He then turned back around to face his desk "it is right now 8 o'clock ,do you think you will be able to take care of him until then?" Logan asked as he began to do his work again. "Yes, me a this little cutie are gonna go have some fun" he said cooing at Virgil as he made his way out of the room. "Don't get him too hyper ,it is almost his bed time" Logan said motherly. "Yeah yeah, I won't " Patton teased closing the door behind him. He was stoped once he made his way into the living room. "Is that A BABY!" Roman shouted as he shot off the couch. Virgil's eyes widened and he cried at the loud noise. "Shush Roman you're scaring him" he said patting the crying baby's back . "Can I hold him pretty please" Roman begged holding his arms out. "If he will let me give him to ya, then sure." He slow started to give Virgil to Princey causing the baby to whine in protest. Once in Romans arms Virgil just stared at him with wonder in his eyes making Roman coo at him. " who is he?" The side asked as he brushed the bangs out of the child's face. Then he could see it, the eye shadow under the eyes. "Is this Virgil, what happened to him?" He asked before morality could answer. Who then went on to explain everything about what happened and why it happened. He then finished with scolding him. "You most of all are gonna have to apologize to him" Roman nodded his head which was bowed in shame. He had been so mean to the other trait. Suddenly he was snapped out of his thought as the weight in his arms grew slightly heavier. Virgil had just turned 4. "Pwincy" he giggled. " awww he is so cute" he squealed , his excitement was short lived as Virgil lifted his hands into his hair. At first he was just playing with it and Roman didn't mind that his hair was getting messed up. That is until he grabbed a hand full of hair and pulled. Screaming he tried to pull Virgil away from him and put him back into Patton's arms. "virge no hair pulling!" the father scolded as Roman was finally able to give him back. "apologize." He commanded. "sowy pwincy"he replied sniffling as he made grabby hand to give Roman a hug. The royal could simply not refuse the hug even though it was from the most cute, evil, hair pulling ,little boy in all of the imagination. (Depends on which side of the imagination you're talking about, even in the bad part of the imagination, Virgil being the most evil was a big stretch) Virgil nuzzled his head into Romans neck and yawned. "Looks like someone is tired." Roman cooed rocking him slightly. "Wanna put him to bed while I clean the kitchen?" Patton asked as he walked away from them. "Sure why not" the prince said strolling out of the living room into the hallway. As he passed each door he was lost in thought. He realized how close him and Virgil had grown , which also caused him to understand how much he had hurt him in the past and present.  "I'm so sorry Virgil, for everything " he whispered not expecting a response. " I forgive you pwincy" Virgil mumble tiredly against his neck. Roman smiled as he came to a stop at Virgil's door. He really hoped that Virgil would remember this when he was back to normal, which from Patton's explanation should be in by the morning. He then decided that he would check up on him at around 8 tomorrow.  He laid Virgil down on his bed and tucked him in. Virgil looked so cute snuggled up into the big blanket. He was so small compared to the king sized bed. Roman leaned down and kissed him on his head before getting up to leave. "Goodnight dark prince" he whispered as he started to close the door. "Pwincy" Virgil whined in his sleep "Yes" he answered with concern. "Lwght pweas" the child asked. Virgil as a child was scared of the dark. How cute. He turned on the bed side lamp smiling as Virgil cuddles a purple lamb. It was just too cute for words. He then left with out any complaints this time. Closing the door  he looked at the time. It was about time for him to go to bed as well. He made his way to bed and hoped that Virgil would remember in the morning.

Roman POV/ third person
It was morning now, eight o'clock to be exact. Roman stood up and snapped his fingers changing out of his pjs into his princely attire. He walked next door to Virgil's room. He wasn't ready for what he saw. Virgil was still sleeping in his bed and he had grown back to his full size which was to be expected. But he was still dressed in his light purple onesie , and he was still hugging the lamb. The most funny thing of all was that he had was sucking on a pacifier. The royal stifled a laugh as he summoned Patton's old camera. He got to take two pictures before the flash woke him up. "Huh... what...omg don't look at me" Virgil spat out the pacifier and hid under his blanket. He was trying to snap his fingers but just like always he was not all the way mentally back yet.  "Damn it" he cursed, he was going to have to get up and change, but he was not planning on that while Princey was in the room. Also he had just called to other sides in so they could laugh at his embarrassment. Suddenly his blanket was pulled clean off of him. "Oh kiddo you are so adorable!!" Morality squealed. "Nice" Logan said gesturing to his current state. "Can you guys leave so I can change" he said covering his mouth as his voice cracked. It wasn't easy going through puberty that fast. Roman was now struggling to stand he was laughing so hard. "Okay but before we leave, we would all like to apologized for what happened yesterday" Logan said trying to keep a straight face . "I forgive you all, now please leave" he said as his voice cracked more. He was so embarrassed he wanted to crawl in a hole and die. "Alright Guys lets give virge time to change" Patton said pushing the other two out of the room. After Virgil got dressed he spent the rest of the day trying to get a hang of summoning again, but also plotted against Roman for taking those horrible photos of him.

So ... this took me longer than I thought it would. Lol. I still have to work on how long I make my stories but oh well. Sorry for the cringe, and if u enjoyed it there will be plenty more.
