He steps close to me so we're only a few feet appart. I feel scared and I take a couple steps back but I bump into a tree. "Get away from me." I say trying to hide my fear. "Why?" He takes another step, "are you afraid?" He smirks at me and strokes my hair with his hand. My heart pounds and I push him away. "No! I'm not...I'm not afraid of you," I lie. "I somehow find that hard to believe," he says. "Would you just leave me alone!?!" I strike him with an ice shard as self-defense. He seems startled at first, but then his shocked face soon returns to an evil grin. Before he can say anything else I run as fast as I can. But he yells behind me, "You can't escape fear, Angel! It will always be there. Even when you don't know it..." I keep running. I run until my lungs catch on fire. I run until I can't take it anymore. I stop running and sit against a tree and catch my breath. I hope Pitch didn't follow me because I can't take another step. I want to sleep. My eyes begin to close and I let them. I drift off into my dreams. It only feels like I've been sleeping for five minutes when I open my eyes. I hear growling and see a pack of wolves approaching me. Seriously?!? This is the last thing I need right now. I get up slowly, trying not to startle them. Even the slightest of movements can set them off. Flying would be really helpful right now but I can't fly anymore for some reason. Maybe its because my dad died... I shake the thought from my head. I need to concentrate. I carefully take a step backwards. I accidentally snap a twig and the wolves charge at me. I run away from them as fast as my feet can carry me. But I instantly feel tired and I don't know if I will make it. I trip and realize that this is the end. I scream and cry at the top of my lungs when a wolve rips and tears at my flesh. I feel excruciating pain all over my body. Teeth sink so far into my flesh that I feel it in my bones. I scream and cry for help but I know no one will. I sqirm and try to escape from the white and gray blurrs, but no luck comes. My vision goes black and the last thing I see is my own blood on the forest floor.
