Irascible

having or showing a tendency to be easily angered.

She was trembling on the bus,
and her body felt weighed down.
Her eyes suddenly felt exhausted,
they were going bloodshot,
she could feel her heartbeat in them,
just like an eyelid spasm.

The people whom have judged her,
cruelly sat next to her,
with their monster pupils,
clawing and ripping out her heart.

She never knew why,
they were so disgusted with her,
what she even did wrong.
Her whole body was aching.
She only wanted a friend.

So her eyes began to swell,
as she focussed them,
on the blurry window.
The hot, hot tears running down,
dripping down her chin,
like warm raindrops.

Yet she wouldn't let herself cry,
she would only allow the tears.
She couldn't stop them, anyway.
The sadness hit her like cement.

She felt so utterly embarrassed,
when she heard the laughter,
from the tongues of her enemies.

And that's when she began to cry.
