"You can't just stand there and not answer me, Danny!" He yelled. I stopped in my tracks and turned around slowly. His face was soft, but his eyes were screaming and darker than usual. The rain poured harder and I knew that this isn't what I had hoped for.
He took a step forward as I took a step back. "It's not like you're doing anything Jax!" I ran a hand through my wet hair as tears fell from my eyes. I looked down at my hand and tried to pick off the hair strands that fell out. My head was jerked up gently and Jax was standing infront of me.
"You can't tell me I haven't tried." He whispered. Our noses were touching, my heart was beating, and somehow I knew that this wasn't wrong, this was right. It was more than right. I shouldn't have to please my parents so much. I need to be happy. Jax's hands held my face and I couldn't help but want to be so much closer to him.
I took a step closer, so our bodies were touching. He looked at me with the ever most concern and it made me feel so much worse for how I've treated him. I ran my hands through his dark hair then wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Tell me one thing." I said, more like a question. He nodded slowly and stroked my cheek.
"Before I fall, will you catch me?" I asked.
