Genral POV
Peter picked up his phone and called Diana. Sbe picked up within the first and second ring.
"Yeah, boss?"
Peter opened his mouth to say words but nothing came out.
"Boss? Is everything okay?"
Peter swallowed the big lump in his throat and said, "come to my house."
He hung up and turned to his wife, who held a chils that looked way too happy for the situation they were in.
"Breath, Hon. You and the team will figure this out. You always do."
Peter put his hand on Elizabeth's as she held baby Caffrey. "I know we will, but how is this possible? Out of all the things we seen, this is by far the craziest thing Caffery had gotten himself into and I don't know if I can get him out of it."
Elizabeth handed Peter the baby and stood up. "I'm going to go make some tea and coffee. You guys will need it."
Peter held Neal close to his chest. The child secured his arms around Peter as he fell asleep.
The tea and coffee were made and Elizabeth came back to an adorable site. Peter was holding Neal in a cuddle and Peter was almost asleep. It was after 12, so Elizabeth didn't blame him.
Elizabeth pulled out her phone and snapped a few pictures and walked over to drape a blanket over them.
Just as the blanket landed on the two sleeping figures, there was a knock at the door. Without a doubt who was there, Elizabeth walked over and opened the door.
Diana tried to rush in and looked for Peter but Elizabeth put a finger to her lips and pointed over to the couch. Diana was confused till Elizabeth sat her down at the kitchen table and told the story.
