"So, where do you want to go?" Harry asked patiently in the hospital parking lot, staring deeply into my eyes.
"Wherever you want to go." I said not caring. He laughed,
"I don't have any place I want or need to go...plus, you probably want to go do something, right?" I sighed,
"Let's just drive around town, 'kay?" He nodded, unlocked the car, opened the door leading to the passenger's seat and waited for me to get settled before he closed it. I put my head back, and breathed deeply through my nostrils. I heard the car door from his side slam shut and my eyes flickered open. I gave him a questioning look and asked,
"What's wrong?" He shrugged,
"Nothing." I shook my head and laughed a little.
"No one just slams a door for no reason, Harry."
"I do." Noticing he wouldn't budge I said,
"Okay, let's go." And we were off. I took in every detail of the hospital parking lot as we left. From the beautiful bright green tree leaves to the newly paved sidewalk that took in the sun.
"Pretty nice, huh?" Harry said, ruining the moment.
"I guess." I grumbled.
"Oh, c'mon Rebecca, I saw the look on your face."
"The look I haven't seen in a while. The look of interest." I raised an eyebrow,
"How can you tell it was a look of interest? When was the last time I showed interest?"
"Yeah, um, I was kidding about the first part. I know because you have that expression on your face nearly every hour." He must look at me a lot then... I felt blush spread out through my face from embarrassment and realization. I made my head face the floor so he couldn't see me. I then heard a song come on the radio and I instantly recognized it. It was 'The One That Got Away' by Katy Perry. As the song played, it sort of reminded me of Niall. Then I thought it would be more reasonable for me be reminded of it if Niall died...What if he did? Would I cry until my face was forever wet? Would I sit there in regret? Would I not care? Or would I walk away? Gosh, I ask to many questions.
"Hey, why don't we go there?" Harry said after a while, pointing at a house that obviously had a party going on with a lot of people.
"What? They won't care." He whined.
"Uh, yeah, they will." He laughed,
"Okay then, what is my name?"
"Harry." I murmured.
"Correct, we have a winner! Okay, next question, what band am I in?" He had a big grin on his face saying, I'm so going to win this one.
"Again, correct! And how popular is the band?"
"Very." Annoyed I turned my head away from him.
"How popular am I?" He asked, gently directing my face back to his.
"Good." I crossed my arms, still not agreeing to his decision. Then out of nowhere, he slammed his lips onto mine. For a second there, I thought might have maked out here for an hour when I finally decided to pull away. After all, the only reason why I kissed him before was because he forced me to and I guess I kinda wanted Niall to be jealous. He just smiled at me,
"So to the party?"
"To the party." I growled, wiping my lips off with the back of my hand.
