That night Braxton never let me go. He had his arms around me the whole night. I couldn't sleep for most of the night and neither could he. We stayed there in comfortable silence, but I ended up falling asleep after a while. That next morning, I woke up after him. Braxton was just staring at me. I felt kind of creeped out, but I smiled when I saw him smile.
"Let's get some breakfast." I nodded and got out of bed. I decided I should shower and freshen up in my room first. Braxton held my hand as we walked out. He let go to open the front door. I gasped when the door opened and Ari stood there.
"What are you doing in my Dad's room?"
Do you want me?
I walk down the hallway
You're lucky the bedroom's my runway
Slap me! I'm pinned to the doorway
Kiss, bite, foreplay
Chapter Twelve - Daddy's Angry
"I, uh..." Ari was standing right in front of me looking pissed and confused at the same time. I had no idea what to say to her. I was speechless at this point.
"Vera needed help last night." I looked back at Braxton. He looked completely calm, but I was freaking out.
"Needed help with what?" Ari crossed her arms over her chest. Again, I had nothing to say. I figured Braxton will do all the talking.
"An incident happened at a party last night, so I went to get her. I told her to sleep here so she wouldn't wake you up. Everything is okay now. We should get breakfast." Ari wouldn't look away from me. I couldn't look at her so I looked down at the floor. She backed away so I could step out of the room.
"I'll meet you guys after I shower." I walked down to the room. I sighed out loud when I got into the room. I should have never gone to his room but we needed to talk. Braxton needed to know why I acted out like this. Talking to him last night made me want to be a better person. I was done with the drinking, and the drugs, and the random hookups. I just wanted to be normal.
I jumped when I heard the door slam. I knew Ari came back to the room and I was dreading seeing her. I wanted to stay in the bathroom until the trip was over, but I knew that wasn't possible. I needed to face her sooner or later. When I walked out of the bathroom, I kept my eyes on the floor. I walked over to my suitcase and took out some jeans and a white t-shirt. I was looking for some underwear when Ari cleared her throat.
"You have nothing to say?" Ari was really mad. She has every right to be I guess. She just caught her best friend in her father's room. I'd be pissed too if I had a father.
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
"You're so toxic." I was shocked when she said that. I had no words again. "My Dad is nice enough to pay for your trip and this is how you treat him? Vera, I'm so tired of you partying and being some wild girl. You don't even see how your actions are hurting people. I'm sorry but I need some space from you when we get back." Why did I feel like we were a couple breaking up?
"Let's just enjoy this last day. You do your thing but stay out of trouble." Ari turned and walked out of the room. Ari was right, I was a toxic person to be around. I knew I needed to give her space, but it sucked. Ari was my only girlfriend and I blew it.

"I want you to bend over my desk and spread your legs." I nodded, walking over to his desk. "Yes, Daddy." "Good girl." I spread my legs and stood there, waiting for his next move. "Pretty little, Vera." I flinced when I felt his finger on my bac...
