You looked at Pietro's lifeless body, wondering if it was just your head playing with you or if there really was a small smile on his lips. He suddenly jumped up, laughing with Clint.
"You ass!" You yelled, seeing as Pietro was, in fact, not dead. Wiping your tears off your cheek, you smacked his arm.
He quickly stopped laughing upon seeing your red, tear-filled eyes. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to get upset." He brought his thumb up to your cheek, wiping a few stray tears away. You frowned, holding onto him tightly.
"Don't do that ever again," You hiccuped, tears now free falling down your cheeks. "God, you scared me so much."
"I know, I'll make it up to you," he whispered against your hair, making sure that he held you close. "But that was kind of funny, am I not wrong?"
