I went to check on Percy, but he was gone.

"How could you leave him alone?!" I yelled at Piper.

I wasn't mad at her, but I needed to blame someone other than Percy.. my seaweed brain..

I had no idea where he went, this was really unlike him..

But the way Piper described how he acted when she talked to him.. that would shatter me to pieces if I had to hear him say those things..

"I- I didn't think he'd leave like that! I was just going to give him some time to rest!" Piper argued.

I started to burst into tears, I dropped to the floor and sobbed.

Stupid seaweed brain! Why? Why!

Piper put her hand on my shoulder. I pulled her into a hug, sobbing endlessly.

"We'll find him. Don't worry Annabeth, we'll bring him home.." Piper comforted me.

Piper started to sob as well.

I couldn't help but remember the way he looked when he woke up. The blank stare, and the empty eyes. And then the painful ones. The ones I couldn't look at, each time I did, tears would roll down my cheeks.

I knew Percy was alive, and that was all that mattered.

"You guys are in luck." Bruce said, holding a small tablet in his hand, typing something onto it.

Tony went behind Bruce's shoulder to look at the screen. "You put a tracker in the kid?!?" He yelled, loud enough for everyone on that floor of the tower to hear.

Peter came running into the room, he held a map of New York in his hands.

"Yeah, when he started acting strange, I thought that he might run off. I put a tracker on him to be safe." Bruce took the map from Peter, and drew a big red 'x' on it. He traced a route with sharpie and handed me the map.

"There's the location of the tracker. You can bring whoever you want from the avengers. I should warn you, he might not be.. himself..." he looked away from me as he said the last part.

"What do you mean?" I asked, worried about my seaweed brain.

"You saw it for yourself. His personality is split almost. It's like he's sharing a body with a hydra agent." Bruce looked back at the tablet and places it on the counter.

I looked at the spot I had put Percy's bag, and noticed a piece of paper. I grabbed it and looked at the words on it.

Oops. Sorry. This might've been a bad idea, but it keeps you all safe. See you guys!
   ~Percy

I read the note over and over. It was his handwriting, but it didn't feel like something he'd write. He wouldn't have even left a note before he left.

I looked in the trash can to see Percy's old clothes, the ones he was tortured in. Blood stains littered the shirt and jeans, I felt a sudden wave of sorrow.

I knew, I had to get my seaweed brain back. I couldn't lose him, not after what we've been through. Together.

I looked up at Bruce, treating him like the leader of the avengers, which pissed off Tony quite a bit.

"I'll need you, Peter, Clint, and Natasha." I Said to Bruce. He looked at me surprised. Tony looked at me, then he looked at Bruce.

"You forgot someone." Tony muttered.

"Did I? I believe you were not one of the people I wanted to help save my boyfriend. You and Percy are actually a lot alike, and because of that, I can conclude you're very reckless. So.. I'm not bringing you." I crossed me arms and glared at him. I didn't need a constant reminder of Percy wherever we went during this quest.

Tony pouted and then left the room.

Bruce stood up and looked me in the eyes. "Sorry Annabeth, I cant go with you. When you find him you can bring him here, but unfortunately I'm not very useful. The other guy... he can be a bit difficult to control.. so I think it'd be safer without me there."

"Ok, understood." I smiled at him as everyone gathered up and prepared to go after Percy.

I smiled, it reminded me of the good old days, when Percy and I plus whoever else we were going on a quest with went out for battle. Except this time, there was no Percy. It was just me. With everyone else.

And I knew, we'd get him back. I squeezed my camp necklace, one bead in particular, the one with the Empire State Building on it. I remembered the war, and how soon after the war, we started dating. It'd been a year, almost, and I knew I'd see him again. I just had to.

I kept telling myself I'd see him again over and over. I looked at Piper and Jason, who were holding hands as they waited for us to figure out a plan. Frank and Hazel held hands as well. Leo looked over at me, and walked over to me.

"Welcome to the seventh wheel club. President Valdez at your service!" He snickered.

"Hate to break it to you buddy, but pretty soon you'll be the lone member once again."

His eyes zoned off as he thought about Percy. They then lit up. "At least I have Calypso." He gave me a empathetic smile, and walked off to Peter, starting a conversation with him.

I smiled at the scene of the demigods and mortals coming up with plans on what to do when we found Percy.

We knew the unstable demigod wouldn't just go with them, after all, he chose to leave in the first place.

The scene reminded me of when the Romans and the Greeks first worked together.

She smiled, but unfortunately, that smile would soon fade.

She didn't know what was coming.

Wow I rushed to finish this.

I spent so much time thinking about a plot for a different story I wanted to start on that I completely forgot to finish writing this chapter. I wrote it last night, hoping to get it up today. It's a bit past my curfew, but it was worth it.

I'm losing ideas for what to do with this story, and I think I'm going to finish it soon. There's not much left in the plot anyways. And I'm very excited to work on my next story. I don't want to give myself too many stories to write, so I'm going to stick to one at a time.

Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying this story! It's a bit of a mess at the moment, since I have just been winging these past few chapters way more than I didn't before. I seriously have no clue what the plot of this story is anymore.

I actually had to try and come up with so many things to do for this chapter to even get to 500 words, but then I had some ideas and before I knew it, over 900 words! Unless you include my authors note, then it'd be 1192 words.
