Soon after dinner, Laurance had snuck into my room. I hadn't notice him until I looked up to see a pair of blue eyes looking down at me. I was simply brushing my hair out, and I was thankful I sent Taryn out for a little while.
He proposed an idea, and that idea is to sneak into the garden to get to know each other.
I agreed.
We casually walk through the paths, and I gawk at the beauty of everything around me.
"I'm sorry for my father being so vile," he apologizes. "Ever since my sister's disappearance, he's been colder towards everyone."
I shrug my shoulders with a sigh, "It's honestly no big deal. I've heard of your future marriage, and I've even read about the proposal. Is she nice?"
"The princess of Brightport?" Laurance begins to laugh, and I have to quiet him down by covering his mouth. His laughs become muffled, and then he stops. "She's nice, but I don't love her. You don't have to hint to it, just ask me."
"Ah, I wasn't!"
"Sure you weren't," he chuckles.
"I wasn't!"
He rolls his eyes, "I better get you inside before people notice of our disappearance."
I glare, "This isn't over."

The couple stands together in the garden. A red rose is clutched in the princess's hand, and shd e can't help but smile at its beauty. But then Leo begins to kneel on his one knee, and takes hold of his future finacée's hand. He gently kisses it, and then he asks her to marry him. She smiles and happily replies with a simple 'yes', and the ring is placed on her gloved finger. Although she knew this was going to happen, the proposal had shocked her.
That's what I had read about Alex's proposal back in the orphange one year ago.
Taryn gives me a pair of plain white gloves to put on, and I do so. She smiles at me and fixes her own dress.
I've been a little nervous about today. I don't know if I can continue the act of being a long lost sister. I'm lying to everyone, encluding Leo.
"You'll do fine. And if all else fails," Taryn places her hand ony shoulder. "Fake it 'till you make it. That's all you can do."
"Thank you Taryn."
I've more things about the royal family than I should. Whether it be from Taryn, and now Laurance, I'm learning too much.
I begin to walk out of the room, and Laurance stops me.
"Don't tell anybody I told you but, I've heard there's going to be a ball thrown to celebrate your arrival," he whispers into my ear, and his hand slyly takes grasp of mine. "Royal families will be there, encluding the Ro'meaves."
O'Khasis is a powerful and strong kingdom ruled by King Garte. His eldest son, Garroth, is set to rule soon once it's his eighteen brithday. The family consists of Queen Zianna, King Garte, Prince Garroth, Prince Zane, and now Ex-Prince Vylad. He disappeared for some odd reason weeks after Alex's disappearance. Strange, but royalty itself is strange.
"The Ro'meaves? I never thought that I would be of that great importance."
He only chuckles and takes the parasol out of my hand. We begin to walk down to the dinning room to breakfast. "You're too modest. However, royal families are curious to see who the long lost sister is. Many people are traveling near and far. Phoenix Drop seemed to be interested in you yesterday during father's meeting."
Taryn had told me about Laurance's observing of his father's work. With him becoming King of Meteil soon, and Cadenza almost arriving her marriage date and becoming queen of another kingdom, it was about time he would learn how to do his job correctly.
"Wow, and to think that I'm just an orphan."

"It appears that you stunk your way into the kingdoms hearts," Leo says. He swings our intertwined hands back and forth, and I can't help but smile at the action.
"I suppose so, but I was only being myself."
He stops walking and picks me up. I drop my parasol once he begins to spin me around. I laugh, and he smiles looking into my eyes.
I suppose he saw something in me that made him think I was somebody else when he mumbles out a 'that's my girl' before he places me back on the ground.
Leo gives me my parasol, and he remains frozen in the same spot. I turn around and see that he slowly begins to kneel down on the ground.
"Will you, Princess Y/N, do me the honor of being my wife?"
I nod my head, "Yes."
And to think that he proposed to me in the garden.
I've had questions for him, but I don't dare to ask them to him. Maybe I will soon, but not on the day of the proposal.
I'm sure I'll learn how to love him, or I'll just somehow fall for him. But I know that if she never does come back, I have to fall in love with him.
