Nadia is adopted, but no, she isn't a character in a overly generic, adopted-child-looks-for-real-parents type of story. In fact, she wants absolutely nothing to do with her biological parents. She may share their blood and DNA but she will never share a life with them. Nadia doesn't like to talk about it, either, but if it does come up, she gets defensive. What nobody knows is that sometimes, she does bring down her walls and cries.
