Emily's POV*
"Well I gotta run. We should hang out again" Simon said standing up.
"Definitely" I said with a smile. He opened his arms out of a hug. I rolled my eyes playfully and walked over. He wrapped his arms around me and laughed.
"See you soon McDonald's girl" he said walking away.
I let out a small laugh. I heard my phone ringing. I checked the caller ID and it said "Grayson".
I sighed and pressed decline. I walked out of Starbucks and just took a stroll by the beach. The sun was shining bright and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
As I was walking I heard a car pull up. I turned my head, facing the car. I look at the person who was driving. It was Grayson.
"Emily" I heard him say. I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"Emily please" he said getting out of the car. I turned myself around.
"What do you want Grayson?!" I yelled at him.
He walked up closer to me. "Let me apologise" he said sighing. I looked his eyes, they were filled with sorrow.
"There's nothing to be sorry about" I said rolling my eyes. "Apparently I can't be within 100 feet of another boy" I said to him crossing my arms over my chest.
He sighed. "I'm sorry Em. I thought you were on a date" he said looking directly at me.
I threw my hands up in frustration. "But you said "we're not even together" so what if i was" I said annoyed.
"I'm sorry. I really am. I just got jealous" he said looking down at the ground.
I sighed. "I guess I would feel the same way if you were with a girl" I said truthfully.
He looked up at me and smiled. "So you forgive me?" He said, excitement in his voice.
I smiled. "How could I not" I said poking his nose. His smile grew x10 bigger. He picked me up and spun me around.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, breathing in the smell of his cologne. He pulled my in tighter.
"Thank you" He whispered in my ear. We let go of each other.
"Emily?" He said nervously. I looked up at his big hazel eyes. "Will you go on a date with me?" He asked nervously.
My smile grew from ear to ear. "Of course!" I said chuckling.
He sighed in relief. "Phew" He said pretending to wipe the sweat off his forehead.
"Cmon I'll bring you home" he said smiling at me.

"I'll pick you up at 8" he said smiling cheekily at me.
I grinned. "See you then" I said getting my bag. I went to grab the handle to open the door but Grayson beat me to it.
"What a gentleman" I said laughing.
"See you tonight" he said kissing my cheek quickly. I blushed and smiled.
I walked back to the room. I unlocked the door and threw myself and my stuff on the bed.
I decided to call Maddie. I dialled her number. I waited for her to pick up.
"What's up Em" she said through the phone.
"Maddie. Thank god. I need your help" I said excitedly.
"With what?" She asked.
"Grayson asked me on a date" I said with a smile on my face.
"Say no more. I'm on my way" she said and hung up.
