Tyler led her to the end of the aisle and Jade looked up at him with a frown.

"I thought we weren't doing anything typical," Jade suggested but Tyler smiled slightly.

"I think we can make an exception in this case," he said to her. "There's actually someone who'd love to walk with you today."

He looked over Jade's shoulder and smiled, and Jade followed his gaze to see Woo Bin and Nathan standing there, both dressed up formally for the occasion. They came up to Jade.

"Nathan wanted to ask you something, Jade," Woo Bin smiled.

"Can I walk you up the aisle, Mommy?" Nathan asked Jade and she couldn't say no.

Jade looked adoringly at him and got down on her knees to give him a kiss on the forehead.

"Of course, honey," she said and Nathan's face glowed.

He looked up happily at Woo Bin and Jade stood up. She threw her arms around Woo Bin who hugged back.

"You take care of our Jade now, okay?" Woo Bin said to Tyler who nodded politely.

"Thank you, Woo Bin," Jade said. "You've done so much, more than I could ever ask for."

"Hey, that's what family's for," Woo Bin laughed and Jade held out her arms towards Nathan.

"See you at the end of the line," Tyler said before hurrying off to take his spot under the arc, next to Brandon who was to hold the ceremony.

"Ready, mommy?" Nathan asked and Jade laughed.

"Ready, baby," she kissed the top of his head again.

The crowd hushed into silence and the music that had been playing in the background grew louder. Nathan walked Jade up the aisle, holding her arm in his. As Jade walked, she looked around at the familiar faces. The beautiful landscape was decorated with semi-circular tables, all facing towards the alter. The color scheme was white table clothes with black and blue painted flowers decorated at the edges of the tables. Most of the guests were seated, apart from Tyler's tribe - family, which was standing huddled together at the back of the ceremony, acting like complete strangers. Jade passed her mother, Ken, Pixie, finally looking before her at the face she loved the most.

Tyler smiled as Jade walked towards him, a radiant glow on his face, a sparkle in his ember eyes that shone brighter in the sunlight. Jade stopped at the end of the aisle and Nathan stepped aside. Jade took her place in front of Tyler, her gaze fixed on him, heart thudding against her ribs.

It felt so strange, the day was finally here. She had never expected it, never thought it possible. Yet here she was, standing in front of the man she loved more than anything, looking into his loving eyes, soon to be made his partner for life. A month had gone by so quickly. When did they go from trying to survive Lukas's revenge to standing at the wedding alter in less than a month? It seemed so strange. So unreal.

Brandon cleared his throat.

"Let me start off by saying I'm no priest," he said in an entertaining tone. "But the uncanny couple here wanted to show the world anything's possible and picked me of all people to ... you know, do this shit."

Some people laughed.

"So here I go," Brandon said. "Jade, would you like to say your vows?"

Jade smiled playfully, looking fixedly into Tyler's mesmerizing eyes.

"Tyler," she began, her voice low but clear. "When I first met you, I never thought I'd fall in love with you. On the contrary, I hated you. You were the most annoying creature I had ever seen. You said things, did things, that I thought I'd never be able to forgive. You held me in the palm of your hand, manipulating my strings like I was a helpless puppet. You controlled me, and I hated it. God, I wished I could kill you, and trust me, it was more than once that I wanted to do so. But then it all changed."
