The night was cold like ice, the sky was black but the stars provided the light me and my father needed.
"You fool, don't you dare defy your father, your creator" my father says as his hand still stabbed into my stomach. My blood was hot like fire, rage was taking over me.
"Shut your mouth you fucking devil, I didn't ask for this, you put me in this reality by force" my voice is tired but firm, it should get to him I just want to die and leave so I don't have to be here with him.
"Why would I kill my own son" he says with that devilish smile "when I could torture you, see you'll live like a human and you'll see why having my blood running through your veins is such an amazing gift" he says as he throws me to the ground, kicking my wound. I knew when I accepted his decision that I would have the freedom I longed for. His voice still echoes through my head in the morning when I wake up.
On earth it's a different life. I go to school, as a sophomore in High School. I live alone, just me and my thoughts to keep me company. I'm totally alone. When my father put me here, he gave me abilities to make it "easier to live", he gave me the ability to drive, knowledge and strength. The first day begins.
I walk up the stairs to my first class and walk through the door. Everyone stops and stares at me.
"Can I help you, Mister?" The old man upfront ask with a calming but dominant tone.
"I'm Harper, I'm new here" I say to him, also in a dominant tone. He picks up a clipboard and looks down the list. His eyes widen and he looks up.
"Ah, here you are. Welcome to Jefferson High," he points at a desk in the back of the class "you will sit back there" he tells me as he turns back around to teach his class. I walk back to my desk. It's an old wooden desk, the color of the wood is dimmed, and the legs are rusted just a bit. I could tell people avoided sitting at this desk. As I sit down the desk makes and unholy noise, my heart beats out of my chest and the next thing I know, I'm on the floor and the desk has a hole in the center. Everyone has a look of terror in their eye but the tension of the room isn't high. Is my father trying to scare me? Is he really digging that deep to scare his own son? That damned Devil.
"Enough racket, just sit in the next desk to the right, I only have thirty more minutes to teach you idiots something" he says, his voice is more dominant than last time he spoke to me, louder too. I get up and sit in the next desk. My heart is beating so loud I can hear it. A girl with black hair, with purple streaks and cut shoulder length was staring at me, studying me. It was weird but my face was burning hot. She smirked and turned her attention to the teacher. The bell rung and for some odd reason we go to breakfast after our first class. When I'm walking to the cafeteria I sense a presence of darkness, love and for some odd reason a fallen angel. I turn too see no one, it was weird but I walk slower and with my guard up. The doors of the cafeteria are white sliding double doors with random stickers on them. I push the door, harder than expected and they slam on the walls. The whole cafeteria shuts up and looks at me. I look down and frozen in embarrassment. I keep thinking I'm my old self, back home with my asshole of a father, with my old strength. Back home that wasn't even a full one percent of power. I know how to control power but I still have to get used to this world and how it works. I look up and walk to a table in the middle of the room. When I sit down I begin to hear whispers. People's voices are filled with fear and worry. A kid, a bit bigger than I am bent down infront of me. He had a football jersey on with ripped, red jeans. His eyes are black as night, hair is the same way.
"The names Eli," he tells me, "no one sits at this table, unless they wanna die" he tells me as he grabs my shoulder and pulls me up. His facial expression is blank. He walks me away from the table and sits me at a different table. He looks at me and smile "Sorry to push you around like that but I just had to move you, that's where the football team sits," he begins to tell me "last time someone sat there they came back the next day with a broken arm, but the scariest thing was it was the cleanest break I've seen" he says as he clenches his fist.
"It was you who say there," I say sitting back on my chair "you make it pretty obvious that it was you. Your body language, the way you talk about it, a little advice, don't make yourself that obvious or people will use that against you." His eyes are confused, his body begins to release tension but there's still some.
"I don't even know your name but yet you give me advice" he says with a big smile "jeez this day is gonna be weird."
"Harper, that's my name" I tell him.
"Harper, huh? Nice to meet ya."
"You too." I say smiling a bit.
I look to my left and my eyes begin to widen. Has she been staring at me this whole time? Why is she staring at me? She stands up and walks over to the table I'm sitting at. She stands infront of me, her grey eyes looking into my soul. "Very cute" she says putting her hand on my cheek and smiles.
"What? What did you say to me?" I ask her. I'm confused. What the hell am I supposed to do? She smiles and turns. She walks towards the doors and walks out. The bell rings and we head to our second class.
"Eli, who was that girl?" I ask after we sit at our desk.
"Her name is Sarah," he tells me "she has a weird vibe about her but she's pretty attractive, not my type though." He pulls out his notebook and begins to draw a cross.
"No Eli, she's something out of this world" I tell him. She was a fallen angel. I could tell by her eyes. The grey eyes of a fallen angel. In Hell, you could sell them for a good price. Father had a collection of them just placed on a shelf like a decoration. It pissed me off. Everything he did got on my nerves.
"If I were you, I'd stay away" he tells me. His fingers were covered in pencil led. He showed me a picture.
"What's that supposed to mean? I asked
"Dude, she's a damn satanist."
"I hardly doubt that man, she seems to bright for that."
"Think what you want, I'll see you later" Eli picks up his bookbag and walks out of class. Why is he leaving so early? He seems off. I don't know but it's weird. He had the spirit of an angel but a mindset like a demon. Humans are very weird creatures.
The final bell rings, school is finally out. I walk to the parking lot and up to my car. Father gave me a black 1968 Camaro. It had tinted windows and oh my, the sound that car made was beautiful. I open my trunk and put my bookbag in. I get into the drivers seat and being to drive home. My house isn't far at all. Maybe a 3 mile drive to the school. When I arrive home I feel a presence. The presence of a fallen angel. It was her. It had to be. I ran into my home and began to look around.
"For the son of the Devil, you are really attractive" she tells me as I turn in her direction.
"How do you know me? My father never talked about me. Not even to fallen angels. Not even God himself knows about me. So, how the hell do you know I exist?" At this point I'm demanding. I'm upset. Hells flames are taking over.
"Oh Lucifer, I know all about you. Your dad promised me I'd have your hand" she looks me up and down "and body in marriage."
"Marriage? Not interested. This is a trick Satan decided to pull, isn't it?"
"Not a trick. An alliance. An alliance between demons and fallen angels" she says standing in front of me.
"Marry someone else" I say with hatred. Why would my father do this. Why? He didn't tell me. I turn back to Sarah. She licks her lips and smirks at me.
"No can do. Your mine and I'm yours. I don't care about the alliance. Lucier, I just want you" she tells me placing her hands on my back and resting her head between my shoulder blades.
"You want me? You don't know me, I don't you. You could be a spy or even a demon hunter" I chuckle as I turn and grab her arm. "Yes, you smell like a fallen angel but it doesn't mean you are one."
"I'm no human Lucifer, I'm more dangerous than a human," she says as she puts her hands around the back of my neck "you know, if I wanted to I could kill even you where you stand."
She brings me closer and kisses my lips. Her lips are so soft, softer than any cloud or feather.
"Fine." I say looking at the ground.
"Hm?" Sarah says, smirking.
"You can have my hand in marriage, bare my children. If my father wants an alliance. He'll get his damn alliance."
