Partir, Quitter or Laisser?

All three verbs mean 'to leave'.

Partir is the general verb, and is used if the place is unspecified.
E.g. Elle est partie à 18h30- She left at 6.30 pm

Quitter is used if the place is specified
E.g. Elle a quitté le cinéma à 18h30- She left at 6.30 pm

Laisser is used when something is left somewhere
E.g. Elle a laissé son livre dans la voiture- She left her book in the car
