When you close your eyes, what do you see?

Do you hold the light, or is darkness underneath?

In your hands, there's a touch that can heal

But in those same hands, is the power to kill

To her shock, Tony turned to her after he was finished chewing out Stephen.

"And you, we have to talk. What's your deal?" Iris stuttered, mouth slightly open. She hadn't been expecting that.

"Um, what?" Stark waved her in the sassy way he always did.

"Your superpower, what is it? Normal people don't float, or throw other people into buildings." Iris winced at the last part. Strange's eyes flashed like he was ready to tear Tony apart if he didn't stop talking. But Iris had the feeling he too, wanted to know 'what her deal was.'

"That was an accident, I don't toss people into concrete structures on a daily basis."

"Or we'd have a problem on our hands. So?" Iris sighed.

"Gravity, I can alter gravity." Stark made a sound of interest under his breath and paced and Stephen looked at her with worry and intrigue. Iris stood there, eyes flicking to Tony's pacing, Stephen's glances, and Spider-boy, doing the same thing.

Stark stopped walking and looked at her with an expressionless face. Strange seemed to sense an oncoming storm because he stepped forward.

"Stark-" Tony cut him off with his pointer finger and stepped forward.

"Do you know how many ways you could kill us all."

God, you should've seen that coming.

I did, I've seen this coming since I threw Squidward through a wall.

Stark continued, holding up fingers on his other hand for each reason Iris might end their world.

"You could erase our atmosphere with a wave of your hand; you could throw us out of orbit, either hurling us into a major heat wave or freeze us to death; you could send the moon crashing into Earth; you could float us all into space. Suffocate our asses and be done with it; you could create a black hole. Black. Holes.

Do you see where I'm going with this? I could go on and on about the shit you might do if more 'accidents' occur." Tony held up air quotations and continued talking. "You could-"

"Stark." A tear trickled down Iris's cheek as Stephen's word interrupted Tony's speech. But he wasn't looking at him, he was staring at her, pity in his eyes. Iris cleared her throat.

"Stark, you aren't the only one who's thought it. I've had to think about it for twenty years. Twenty years is a long time." Stupid tears wouldn't give her a damn break. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pee. Unless I'm too dangerous to use the ladies room?" Iris looked around, daring Stark, Spider-boy (who'd stayed silent the entire time) or Stephen to challenge her. When none did, she stomped off down a hallway.

Surprise surprise, Iris didn't find the bathroom. Instead, she looked for a dark corner to cry in for the next hour.
