After his favorite class, Independent Writing, Niall started walking towards the large fountain in the center of campus. To the right of the fountain, there was a small, stone sidewalk that lead to a garden with a wooden bench. In his eyes, the garden was simple, but perfect. He had come to love the spot mostly because the majority of his fellow classmates wouldn't think twice about stopping and enjoying its beautiful simplicity.
He went his usual way, until he noticed the female from yesterday sitting in his favorite spot. She looked absolutely breath-taking, sitting on the park bench by the fountain. She was slightly biting onto the end of her blue pen, as if she were deep in thought. He hesitantly walked over to the girl, noticing the Calculus homework that she was working on.
"My love for you is like pi, it's never ending."
"Oh wow!" she has a mockingly shocked attitude. "What a coincidence!" Her brown eyebrows raised slightly. "You again."
"Of course it's me" he chuckled as he sat down next to her.
"Well, leave me alone — you creep!" She yelled just before she started packing her belongings. She hurried along in a dramatically, fast pace away from the silly boy. He sighed again.
Am I really a creep?
Does no one ever want to be around me unless it's necessary?
Niall fixed his slightly loose glasses with his hand and opened his backpack so he could work on his writing piece. He had to write a persuasive essay about any subject of his choosing.
Surprisingly, Niall was already jumping straight onto one idea. He was planning to write about love — unrequited love. He was going to attempt to persuade the reader to fall in love with him. To let themselves go for once, as if the reader were the uptight librarian he had met before.
Niall simply wanted to be loved.
