The dawn rose without any warning. I was shaken violently by Captain Rex. “We are under attack!” He shouted and I heard an explosion somewhat next to me. I heard the screams of innocents and saw them running outside my hut entrance. I saw smoke and flames.

Before I knew what I was doing I ignited my lightsaber and ran out the door. I saw chaos, pure chaos.  Children were lying dead on the ground. I saw the swipe of a green lightsaber. Ahsoka, I thought. I ran to the lightsaber and saw about twelve droid battalions heading our direction.

“Oh boy,” I said under my breath. Ahsoka stopped and looked at me.

“Oh, look who finally decided to wake up.”

“Look, let’s just clear the area.” She nodded and we continued slaying metal. I suddenly saw two blue lightsabers fly through the air. Obi Wan and Skywalker were attacking the tanks from above. The droids wouldn’t see it coming.

The droids mercilessly kept pushing towards our direction. We were four Jedi, well three, against thousands of droids. I had to keep faith. I had to.

The battle was going by so quickly. The droid remains were quickly piling up next to Ahsoka and me. They had surrounded us by the time I took a breath. There seemed to be no hope, but I learned from master Kenobi that there is always hope.

Ahsoka looked at me. “This is it.” I shook my head.

“Do you still know how to use the Force?” She laughed and nodded. I looked over to a cliff covering the huts and droids, oh, and us. She followed my gaze.

“No, we aren’t powerful enough and there are still Togruta innocents here.”

“It’s a risk we have to take, most of the Togrutas fled before I came into battle. Trust me.” She nodded.

“Surrender,” a battle droid said to us, blaster at the ready. I shook my head.

“Never,” Then Ahsoka and I used the Force and sent loose rocks tumbling down on the battle droids below. A boulder was tumbling to our position, so fast I couldn’t think. So I jumped and Ahsoka jumped with me.

We were on top of the cliff and I sliced at the rock with my lightsaber, sending more debris down towards the droids. When the smoke cleared, the droids were demolished but Obi Wan and Skywalker were still finishing off the remaining tanks and droids.

“We aren’t finished.” I said, about to jump.

“Wait,” Ahsoka said, barely audible. I turned and looked at her.

She was on the ground, her eyes closed, hand extended towards me. I fell to the ground next to her. That’s when I saw the laser blasts in her shoulder and leg.

“Ahsoka!” I screamed. I put pressure on her shoulder, which seemed to be a bigger wound.

“I have to get you down, the medics can’t fix you up here.” She nodded weakly and I picked her up. Inhaling deeply, I threw myself off the mountain.

We landed with a thud and Captain Rex, Skywalker and Obi Wan came to my aid.

“We heard you scream.” Master Obi Wan said. I nodded and looked at Ahsoka, still in my arms and lifeless.

Captain Rex shouted for a medic and one came. He took her from my arms and set her on a stretcher. I crossed my arms uncomfortably and Master Obi Wan wrapped his arms around me.

“Andora, it’s okay, calm down.” I was sobbing uncontrollably and I couldn’t force myself to stop.

Master led me to a hut that was not demolished. Most of the Togruta survivors were gathered here. I composed myself enough to not look completely stupid and childish.

“She’s hurt bad. She might die.” I said quietly, looking up at him.

“I’ve known Ahsoka for years, she is a fighter. She won’t die, she can’t.” I smiled.

“Let’s get you patched up.” He said, turning my left arm, revealing a laser blast.

“Ow! I didn’t even notice that.” He smiled and brought me outside to a medic.

Master Skywalker came over to my stretcher then. “Master Skywalker, is she—

“Don’t talk about Ahsoka like you know her. Mind your own business.” I looked up at Master Kenobi and he sighed.

“I was just asking.” I said under my breath.

“Don’t ask, she’s fine, she will be… she has to be.” I gulped and nodded. I could see Master Skywalker really did care about this Ahsoka rogue Jedi.
