When I opened my eyes, I was moving. I was being carried. I sat up and saw clones around me, Master Kenobi on the right of the stretcher I was sitting on and Master Skywalker on my left.

My arm was burning. "Andora," Master Kenobi sighed. "Lay down."

I did as I was told and let myself fall back onto the stretcher.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Rest little one, we will talk when you have been treated." I closed my eyes, and with that, I was out again.

When I opened my eyes again, I was on the ground, on a blanket, with a girl standing over me. She looked like one of my tribe.

"Hi," She said brightly. I smiled.

Master Kenobi came into the room just then. "Andora, how are you feeling?"

I nodded. "Did we destroy it?" He nodded gravely.

"All thanks to you." I smiled.

"When are we leaving?" I asked, groaning as I tried to sit up.

"Tomorrow at sun down, but we need to talk first." He nodded to the little girl standing next to me and she left, leaving Master Kenobi and I to talk. Honestly, I wanted to grab that little girl and bring her back here. I wasn't ready to be yelled at by my Master.

"Andora," He breathed.

"I know Master," I said in a defeated tone. "I was being stupid. I didn't think." I looked at the bandages wrapped around my arm. A laser blast through the arm, that was great.

"Precisely... you could have gotten killed."

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

"It better not." I nodded and he offered me his hand and I took it. With his help, I stood up and walked outside.

"How are you Padawan Andora?" Master Skywalker asked.

"Better," I said lightly.

Suddenly, a trumpet sounded. "That's the war siren!" A little Togruta girl carrying a basket of fruit screamed. She dropped the fruit and ran into the nearest hut.

"War siren," I breathed.

"Captain Rex, take Andora to rest. Protect her!" Master Obi-Wan said.

"No, I can fight!" I said, drawing my lightsaber. Master looked at me and nodded, not finding the case for an argument.

I already heard the guns going off, but I saw no droids. It sounded like a lightsaber was deflecting them. I turned and saw Master Skywalker and Master Kenobi and then me. There were only thee Jedi dispatched on this mission. One, two, three, what was that sound?

I found my answer soon enough. A Togruta girl came running out of the brush, a lightsaber in hand. Battle droids were behind her, maybe twenty. She grabbed a grenade from her belt and threw it, rolling behind a hut. She took out at least fifteen droids with that grenade while my Masters and I watched.

She demolished the rest of the droids with her lightsaber. She withdrew her lightsaber and threw her hands on her knees, panting. "Is she a Jedi?" I asked Master Kenobi.

"Ahsoka!" Master Skywalker yelled as he ran toward her.

"Master," She breathed heavily. He embraced her in his arms and she smiled.

"Let's sit down." He said, guiding her over to a hut where we all entered and sat.

No one talked for a while. I didn't understand the awkwardness but I could feel it in the air. The Force was stronger when I leaned in this Ahsoka girl's direction. She was the Ahsoka I was researching. She was a rogue Jedi. I knew that much.

Finally, Master Kenobi said something. "Ahsoka, where did you get that?" He said, nodding to the lightsaber on her hip.

She smiled. "It's mine."

"I know, I recognize it, but I thought your saber and your Shoto were lost when you fled." She nodded.

"When I said my final goodbye I went searching for it, then I landed here."

"Where was it?" Master was oddly interested in this Ahsoka's finding.

"It was on the black market. I had to pay a hefty price to get it back, along with a few Jedi mind tricks I learned from Skyguy." She laughed and nodded to Master Skywalker.

"So you came home." Master Skywalker said, looking around.

"I was born here, yes."

"So was I!" I said enthusiastically, trying to lighten the mood. It didn't work.

Ahsoka nodded.

"We should rest, we are leaving tomorrow." Master Skywalker said abruptly, walking out swiftly.

Ahsoka sighed and I felt my shoulders drop. Master Kenobi followed Master Anakin out. It was Ahsoka and me... and the awkwardness. Can't forget the awkwardness.

"You should rest little one." My head snapped up. She was smiling at me.

"I'm okay thanks. We should talk." She tilted her head.

"What is it you want to know?" She asked, standing up to retrieve a cup of water from a pot nearby.

"Everything," I breathed, "Why did you leave? Who, how, when, where?" I shrugged.

She laughed. "Okay, we might be here a little while."

"I have until tomorrow at sundown." She nodded.

"I was one of the youngest padawans ever. I was fourteen when I became a Padawan, shipped off to Master Skywalker. Missions happened, orders happened and then it happened. I was accused of murder and treachery. Luckily, Master Skywalker found the real killer and I was released and offered my position back in the Jedi Order. I declined and left. Now I'm here. That's the shrunken version." She laughed to herself.

"That's not very detailed. And that didn't take a long time." I said.

"That's all the time I am willing to spend on the matter." She started to get up.

"Stop," I said, reaching for her hand.

She looked into my eyes. How could she abandon her family? I don't understand.

"Goodnight," She said firmly and shook my hand off of hers.

Master Kenobi came in then, allowing Ahsoka to exit first. "Let's rest Andora; I feel the droid attacks may not halt now they know Ahsoka is a Jedi."

"She isn't a Jedi." I snapped. "Jedi don't abandon their families." He sighed and I followed him to our hut.
