"So you got away with it...so now what?" The detective said.

Now, I went home." I said. Saying that I began to tell the story again. I started telling the story around the time I left Brian's house. I pulled up to Nikki's house and saw that Nikki was sitting on the porch. I got out and turned to see her running to me. Before I had time to say anything she jumped up and hugged me. She squeezed me harder than ever, it was a hug as if she thought I was dead. I don't blame her, before I left I pretty much made it seem that way. After the long hug a she reached up and kissed me. After I was able to unhook Nikki from me, I set her down. She smiled up at me for second more before her smile turned into a frown. Out of nowhere her hand came up and slapped me. "Ow, what the fuck!?" I said.

"Don't you what the fuck me, Junior. You had me worried sick, I thought you were dead!" She said.

"I said I'd be back." I said. With that comment she slapped me again. This one hurt more than the first.

"What happened, are you okay?" She said.

"Yes, I'm fine!" I said. Her bipolar mood swings were confusing me. She was happy to see me, then mad, now she's worried. "Are you done hitting me?" I said.

"Yes." She said. With that I grabbed her and pushed her gently against the car. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pinned her. "Whats this about?" She said.

"Today's been a great day." I said. I got down low and whispered into her ear, "Lets end it off with a even happier ending." I said. The sun set behind us, as I kissed on her neck.

"White boy are you high?" She asked. Someone let out a fake cough behind us.

"Uh, yeah...package for Junior." He said. He was holding a duffle bag. I let go Nikki who leaned back on the car. I grabbed the duffle bag and it was somewhat heavy.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Something Big Tyron wanted delivered personally." He said. Before I could say anything else he just walked off. I unzipped the bag a bit and revealed the duffle bag full of money. I quickly zipped it up and looked around.

"What is it!" Nikki asked.

"Come on, lets get inside." I said. I grabbed Nikki's hand and dragged her inside. I closed the door behind us and took Nikki to her bedroom.

"What is it, is it bad?" She asked after I closed and locked her door behind us. I proceeded to dump the duffle bag on Nikki's bed. Nikki's eyes lit up as she looked at the stacks of one hundred dollar bills over her bed. "Who are you, White boy?" She said.

"Why am I "White boy today?" I asked.

"Where'd you get this money?" She asked.

"The job I did." I said.

"What did you do, rob a bank?" She asked. I said nothing giving away that I did. "Junior Ward, you bad man, you!" She said. She ran over and jumped up and hugged me. She then turned around and slapped me again.

"Ow, why the fuck do you keep slapping me!" I yell.

"If you ever do something like this again, I will kill you myself." She said. She then pushed me on the bed. I landed in the pile of money which scattered across the bed. "With that kind of money, you get a private dance." Nikki said.

"Okay, I like where this is going." I said. Nikki began to strip down to her lingerie. I sat back and relaxed as Nikki proceeded to give me my own personal lap dance. I sometimes took some dollars and threw them to Nikki. After she gave me a lap dance she climbed atop of me.

"Junior, am I going to have to tell you again to not tell us your sex stories?" The detective said. I laugh as I look around. It was becoming four o'clock and most of the recorders and reporters had left. I stretched and took a sip of the bottled water provided to me.

"No I get it, I guess I get carried away." I said.

"How you feeling?" He asked.

"What?" I said, putting the bottle of water down.

"Well you bout got killed today." He said.

"That wasn't the first time I've been at the edge of death, detective." I said.

"Sure, but you aren't  the man you used to be." He said.

"What does that mean?" I said.

"Well, your not young like you were, you do have stitches on your forehead right now." He said.

"Killur's done worse." I said.

"For someone who's done nothing but try to kill you in your life, you sure you guys are friends?" He said. I sat there, thinking. I didn't know how to answer that.

"Its...well, you know what they say, Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." I said.

"Sure, what ever you say, continue when your ready." He said. I sat there still thinking. He has a point, I've known Killur for almost my whole life, and he's done nothing but bring pain and misery to me. Maybe I've just been blind to see this. Maybe I've just been looking at Killur all wrong. Or maybe I'm just thinking, about this now all wrong. Killur's done nothing but stick with me when I need him most. I don't know, maybe its that Ive been scared to ever get on the wrong side of him. Now that I am, I'm regretting it.
