•Will's POV•
"HEY BABY." REGAN says as she walks into the pack house and sits on my lap. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, something I've seen Cleo do many times. Cleo. I haven't seen her in days and I'm going a little crazy, especially with Regan riding my ass. The girl doesn't quit, I haven't had a moment alone, she even follows me to the bathroom. She wraps her arms around my neck and plays with my hair.

I jerk my head away from her grasp. "What do you want Regan?"

She holds my face firmly in her hands, making me look into her cold, dull grey eyes. "I don't like how you've been treating me lately. Where's the old Will? The Will that would throw me over his shoulder and carry me upstairs to one of the empty rooms and just-"

"That's never going to happen." I tell her in a stern voice. A warm fuzzy feeling erupts all over my face and chest. I look around the room for her. She's here somewhere, watching me.

"Well," she chuckles, "it'll have to happen at least once. Once we're mated and you're Alpha, we'll have to produce little pups. We have to carry on the Porter name somehow."

I grip her leg tight in my hand, causing her to whimper a little. She looks into my darkened eyes with fear. "You and I are not mates, we will not be producing any pups, you and I are never going to happen. Get that through your head."

I lift her off of my lap and throw her away from me. She looks at me as if she knows something I don't know, like she doesn't believe a word I've said. She takes a step closer to me, leans down with her hands on the arms of the chair, looking me directly in the eyes. "Oh Will, it's going to happen. Whether you want it to or not. Trust me, I'm not going anywhere."

'We can make her go somewhere. Somewhere she won't be returning from.' Vas growls.

It takes every ounce of my self control to not attack her right here in front of everyone. I hear a growl from across the room, I stand from the chair immediately, pushing Regan back a few feet. I don't see her, I don't even see my brothers. But she was here.

I turn back to face Regan, running my hands through my hair in frustration. "Listen to me closely Regan. If you so much as come near me again, I will not stop myself from killing you. You have no chance with me. I'm serious, even a glance at me and you're done."

"You don't get to-"

A loud growl erupts from my chest, making everyone in the house turn to us. She stands still, scared but still.

"Now go."

She heeds my command and stomps out of the house.

"What was that all about?" Patton asks as he walks up to me. "Trouble in paradise?"

"Regan and I are not together." I shake my head, searching through the people for Cleo, but I don't see her.

"Does this have something to do with a certain student of mine?" He asks. I finally look at him at the mention of her. "She came on a run with us yesterday."

"She did what?"

"She brought her boyfriend and they came with us." He nods.

"He's not her boyfriend." He gives me a sly smile.

"That's the part you pick up on. I tell you that she goes on a patrol run, looking for rogues and you pick up on the fact that I referred to Wyatt as her boyfriend." He chuckles and pats me on the back. "You've got it bad for this one huh?"

"You have no idea."

•Cleo's POV•
I can't peel my eyes off of her shiny hair and her grimy hands wrapped around him. I take a step closer to the room they're in, careful to not let him see me. It's been days since he's seen me and it must be killing him. The glances that sneak of him, aren't enough for me but at least I get to look at him. Lowell and Pete have been very strict about how much contact we can have. Pete has limited us to know, whereas Lowell lets me have a few seconds to look.

I overhear Regan say something about pups and Cali bubbles to the surface briefly, growling at the blonde bitch who's trying to steal him away from us. I fight her and push her back, knowing that being here was a mistake. It was too risky, he could see me and I don't think he'd be able to control his desires. I know I can't.

Lowell hears my growl and pulls me to the floor immediately. The two of us crawl out of the pack house, away from her and away from him. Once we're outside, it's safe to stand and I do so, wiping off some dust and dirt from the pack house floor.

"You have to be more careful." Lowell shakes his head. "I don't think it's wise that you see him for awhile."

"Please Lowell. I can control myself, I promise."

"This was already dangerous, Peter could find out and he'd be so upset with me. Not to mention what would have happened if I didn't pull you down to the floor." He takes my hand and leads me down the steps to the sidewalk. "Just try and stay away from him for awhile."

I nod. He's right. If he hadn't of pulled me down I would have attacked Regan in front of all those people. I would have killed her. Killing her would make my life easier, but that's not who I am. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if Cali took complete control and harmed her.

"Do you need me to walk you home?" He asks. I know he has a study group that he was supposed to meet almost an hour ago, but I dragged him here with my instead. I shake my head and release his hand.

"I'll be fine. I think I'm going to go for a swim, calm down, clear my head." I shrug. He nods.

"Call me if you need me." He walks in the opposite direction as I turn around and walk towards the indoor pool. I look over my shoulder to make sure he's not tailing me.

But he's not. He's already turned the corner, but I swear I felt someone behind me.
