I sat there, my thoughts wandering as the sound of footsteps slowly faded. I looked outside, realising the halls were empty.

I ran out of the classroom, towards the bus stop, where the next bus was pulling in.

I climbed onto the bus quickly, seating myself at the front as it took off.

Once I arrived at the stop I had to get off at, I rushed home, up the stairs as I ignored my parents greetings.

I threw my bag into the corner of my room and flopped onto my bed, not bothering to change out of my school clothes.

TaeTae 🐸: wher r u lu? Thoughtz we was gonna hang.

Lu 🦌: oh shit sorry. Got caught up and took the bus home. Sorry 😐

TaeTae 🐸: all g. Will come pick u up now. Get changed lu.

Lu 🦌: okay.

I threw my phone onto my bed and walked to my closet. I ended up picking out a loose black shirt and blue jeans.

I slipped on my black hoodie over the top, and picked my phone back up, shoving it into the pocket of my jeans.

I rushed downstairs and to the front door.

"And where do you think you're going?" My father called from the living room.

"I-I'm going out with Taehyung. I forgot this afternoon so he's picking me up." I explained.

"Who said you could go?" My mother remarked.

"M-me." I stuttered.

"He does anything," my dad ran a finger across this neck, indicating a slit of his throat, "he gets it."

I nodded my head quickly and exited the house, waiting outside for Taehyung to pick me up.

After a couple of minutes of waiting, Taehyung showed up, inviting me into his car.

"Hey, sorry I forgot about this afternoon. Sort of rushed home after... I spoke to one of the teachers." I said quickly.

"All g. What do you wanna do know?" He asked.

"I dont know. Arcade?" I suggested.

He nodded his head and started driving to the nearest arcade.

We got out of the car and walked in, shoving past many people who were trying to exit.

"Movie must have finished." Taehyung laughed.

We entered the arcade and bought 10 tokens, hoping it would last a while.

"Wanna do air hockey?" I suggested, shrugging my shoulders.

"Sure." He replied, inserted the tokens into the machine, going to the other side to receive the puck.

After a few rounds, the score ended up being 1-5, me being one— of course.

"Wanna go one more time?" He chucked and I laughed along, nodding in response, even though I know I'm gonna lose.

After the next game, I lost. No difference. So we decided to do a basketball game.

"Yoongi hyung loves to come here. He always gets so many tickets." Taehyung explained.

"Wow. He probably gets so many gifts." I replied.

After the game, we ended up receiving 30 tickets. Taehyung and I smiled in delight, following on into the next game.

"Hey, it's a claw machine. Wanna go?" I asked.

"Yeah for sure. I always win." He bragged.

I went first, and I ended up getting a small tiger plushy, while Taehyung received a big dog as his prize.

"No fair." I pouted, hugging the immensely small plushy to my chest.

"Wanna swap? I don't mind. I love tigers." He grinned.

"True. You do look like a tiger." I laughed cheekily as he pouted.

After we finished in the arcade, we turned the corner and walked into the food court and ordered some food.

After we ate, we walked around the park for a bit before returning to Taehyung's car.

"Thanks for this afternoon. It really meant a lot to me." I smiled, going in for a friendly hug.

"Yeah." He hugged back, kissing my forehead.

"Tae- V! S-stop." I pushed him lightly.

"Chill bro. He's not here." He whispered.

"W-what??" I asked confused.

"He's not here." He replied, simply shrugging his shoulders.

"You mean..?"

"Yeah. C'mon let's get you home." He smiled, placing his hand gently on my shoulder.

I got into the car as he drove me home in silence.

"T-thanks again." I smiled, as I closed the door behind me.

"See you tomorrow." He grinned, driving off.

"Did he do anything?" My mother asked, as I walked through the front door.

"Nothing eomma." I replied, walking straight up to my room.

I fell onto my bed, suddenly contemplating life as i smiled and sighed happily.

"I think I really do like Taehyung."

I'm so so so so sorry for not updating in ages. I've been way to busy with school, especially my exams last week. I hope you all enjoy reading and just btw- this story is almost finished. And it might be a while before I update again. Sorry. I lovd you all bye~ 💜👋
