Transparency

The start

Phoenix's pov:

             It's the end of the summer and college is going to be started in 2 days.I'm very enthusiastic to see the real world after high school.I don't wanna be the same nerd I used to be in my high school.I can't bear those bullying anymore.So I made a total make over.I'm quite shocked at my appearence at first,as I looked at the gorgeous girl standing infront of the mirror.But now I'm accustomed to it.

                    I can't wait to meet the new friends,I'm going to make and new memories that I would cherish.My college is 15minutes drive from my home.But I chose to stay in dormatorie so that I can spend more time with new friends and don't get the name I hate most "The nerd".

          But I didn't thought this will change my life.

      Well the world is going to see  new phoenix white.

1st day at college :

                After entering through huge gates I got out of my car to stand infront of a very huge building.I kept starring at the building for dont know how long,as I have no nerves to enter the building yet.

               I was snapped out of the daze when I heard some shuffling on my right and turned to see what it was. As soon as I turned to see what/who might be it. "BANG"someone knocked me down.

               "Ouch" I shrieked.I look at the girl who is looking at me apologetically, giving her hand to me help me up.

   "I'm so sorry,I didn't mean to hurt you" said the girl helping me up.

   "It's ok, no problem" I said,brushing off the dirt on my dress with my hands.

   "I'm lauren young,fresher.nice to meet you" she smiled at me extending her hand to have a shake hand.

    "I'm phoenix white, nice to meet you too,I'm also a freshman here" i said giving a small smile to her.

     "Cool..you know what you are the first person I met here and already I like you,you are already my best friend and phoenix I'm really sorry,I didn't mean to knock you down" she said while lifting her luggage now scattered on the ground from crashing.

    I'm too shocked at her 1st sentence,her liking me and I'm her best friend since I had no best friends in high school except claire who is not so mean to me and there to comfort me some times who is just a friend,but didn't really have a best friend in my nineteen years of life. I'm in my own thoughts.....

    "Did you?" someone snapped me out of my thoughts.I saw her and there lauren was waiting for my answer smiling.

    "Sorry what did you ask?I am not paying attention I'm kind of spaced out" I said apologetically since I am really sorry.

     "Yeah I can see that and no problem, I was just asking have you collected your schedule and dorm room number?" She asked again.

      "Not yet" I replied.

      "Come let's go and collect them" she said tugging her hand with mine and dragging me
with her to the office.she is so cheerful.

      "I can walk myself" I said laughing since she is dragging me like I don't know how to walk.

      "Ohh yeah, now come,If I let you walk by yourself you will be dozed off in the middle of the hall itself,I can sense that" she said glaring playfully at me.

      God I like her soo much with in 10minutes,may be really I got a best friend.
              
       "I'm Lauren young and she is phoenix white.We are freshers,we are here to take our schedules and get dorm rooms" Lauren said to the lady in the office.

        "Here" office lady handed us our schedule and dorm room numbers after going through her computer.

         "Thank you" we both said at the same time and turn back to leave.

          "This is awesome" Lauren shrieked and making me jump and I looked into papers to know why she is excited.

           "Woww...we got to share same room with another girl,I hope she is good" she said I really thankful to god.This is going to me amazing.....

          We headed to our room with our luggage, while me and Lauren are speaking about ourselves like where we live and about  our highschool life,I learned that she lives just 1hr from here and she is one of the cheerleader in highschool.But to be honest she doesn't seem like one since in my highscool all of them are b*****s except claire though.

         As I opened the door with the keys I had there is a girl unpacking her luggage with her back facing towards us.She turned to us when lauren closed the door.I was shocked to see her.

"Hey, hi phoenix,I'm surprised to see you here.I really don't know that you got admission in this college" She smiled warmly.

"Hi Claire,I'm also surprised to see you here"I smiled back.

"You look so different now,a lot prettier"she said.

"Thank you, you look a lot prettier from the last tym I saw you" I smiled.

"So you are Claire about whom phoenix told me" Lauren said standing beside me.

"Yes and you are?" Claire asked.

"I'm Lauren" she said.

"So,we three are roommates now"Lauren cheered.

"I'm glad that was you,I was afraid about who is gonna be my third roommate and I'm relieved now" I sighed.

"Me too"they both said in unison.

       We spent rest of the day unpacking the luggage,setting the room,speaking about interests,likes and knowing each other.We all are excited for tomorrow since it is the day of college.Let us see what's going to happen.Who knows,my life is going to have a roller coaster ride.
