Kai's POV
I was having a peaceful dream until I felt something feathery on my face and a.....hand? My eyes fluttered open. I look over to see a knucklehead spread out sleeping. I look on my nose to see a baby bird or a humming bird.
"Oh hey little guy." I said lifting it off my nose onto my finger. "I saw a lady in front of us picking herbs. I've decided not to mess with her. "I see you've woken up." She said. "Hi, I'm Kai Hatake." I said giving a big toothy smile with an eye smile. "Oh, I'm Haku." She said giving an eye smile back.
I then tackled her into a hug. Her face turned red. "Oh sorry I interrupted you that's just how I greet friends." I said.
------------------Time skip 1 and a half
Me and Haku been talking for a while. Had few laughs here and there. I was helping her pick the herbs. A bird flew on her shoulder and the same baby bird flew on mine. "Hey little guy." I said to the bird. "Greetings fellow Queen." The bird said.
"Wait, Haku did you hear that?" I said confused. "Hear what?" "The bird it just spoke..."I then twitched my wolf ears. "Oh yeah I forgot." I said. "Forgot what?" Haku asked. "My mothers clan. They're able to talk to animals because of their abilities." I explained.
Then two more birds flew over with a beautiful flower crown in their claws.

They then sat it on my head. Then rabbits, deer's, butterflies, and more birds came and surrounded me and Haku. "My Queen, is this your future King?" A deer asked. My face turned red. "What did she say?" Haku asked. "She asked me are you going to be my future King?" I said with a even darker face. 'She's a girl right?'
"Hey, guys. Do you remember how my mother was when she was my age?" I asked. "Your mother acted just like you. You two have the same figure and almost the same personality. Honestly, to be truthful your mother sent us here." A bird explained.
"Wait, huh?" I said confused. "Sorry Queen, but we have to go now." A rabbit said as they then started to disappear back into the bushes.
