Sofia POV
"SOF! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Natalia yelled barging into my room.
"OMG Nat! What time is?" I said with my eyes closed and sleepy voice, digging my head more into my pillow.
"Come one! Sof, it's already noon. We have to go out for your BIRTHDAY lunch!" She said bouncing up and down on my bed.
"Alright, alright. Let me just get ready then we'll go." I said with a big smile.
"Yay! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEST FRIEND!!" She screamed and hugged me tightly.
God I love Natalia.
I go take a shower shave my legs, between my legs and brush my teeth quickly. I change into some denim shorts, black blouse, put on some black and white vans with a pair of sun glasses. I leave my hair down since it's still wet and I'll just let it air dry maybe put it up later.
Going towards the living room I already see Natalia waiting for me.
"Finally! She comes out!" She said jokingly. She looks so cute wearing denim short as well but a white blouse and white converse with a pair of sunglasses too, with her pretty light brown hair in a ponytail.
"Ha. Ha. Nat you're so funny." I said giving her a fake annoyed look.
We start heading out towards Danny's diner, which is literally a few blocks away. It's within walking distance from our apartment and that's so convenient.
Arriving there we go ahead and sit at our favorite table which is table 5 because it's right by a big window with a really nice view that let's in a lot of natural lighting in.
Danny comes over the owner/manager and our dearest friend.
"Hey Danny!" Natalia and I greet him with a big smile.
"Hi girls! And Happy Birthday Sofia!!" Danny said giving me a hug.
"Ohh thank you Danny!" I said with a smile.
"So what can I get you both?" He asked taking out his notepad.
"We'll just have the usual Danny." Natalia said.
"Coming right up. 2 chicken clubs sandwiches with a side of fries and strawberry milkshakes." Danny repeated our favorite order.
"Oh Danny thanks again for giving us today off." I said with a great full smile.
"No problem! You know you girls deserve some time off." He said leaving towards the kitchen.
"Are you excited to go out today Sof since it's your 21 birthday?" Nat asked cheerful.
"Yes Nat, now that I think about it has been awhile since I've actually gone out and had some fun." I told her.
"Do you even remember the last time you went out?!" She asked with fake shock.
"I actually do." I said.

Flashback - Graduation Party
"OMG Sof?! I think this the first time I've actually seen you drink so freely!" Natalia said screaming over the really loud music.
"Well yeah today is a special occasion. Finally done with school no more stress! So why not be free even if it's for a little while." I said happily with out a care.
"Let's hit the dance floor!!" She screamed in my ear slightly drunk.
"Okay! Okay! Nat I'm going!" I said.
