I held his body tightly as he drove us around the main city. He told me that where we were going was a surprise, and he wasn't giving me any hints about it. Riding a motorbike in the city traffic is scarier than I thought, especially when you like to go fast. But thankfully, Luka knows when to slow down. Useful, since it meant we were never caught by the traffic cops.
We slowed down in front of some classy looking buildings. On his order, I look my helmet off. Luka gestured for my helmet so I handed it to him. I really don't understand how it's much of a surprise when I could see everything.
"So, we're here, huh?" I said as I got off.
Luka shook his head, which confused me. He took his hoodie off and, like a gentleman, offered to put it on me. I assured him that I wasn't cold, but he wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer.
He made me wear it from the front, practically forcing my hands into it and putting the hood up against my face. He tied the drawstring at the back of my head to secure it in place. The fabric was thick, stuffy, and opaque enough for me to be unable to tell what's on the other side. But I had no choice other than to trust him. After all, I was the one who agreed to be his wife.
I felt my body being lifted up into the air. He sure has been training himself to be able to carry me. He placed me on the seat which I recognized easily to be the bike. What's the point of me getting off the bike then?
"What the heck, Luka? I can barely breathe in here!"
"Sorry, Vio. I should have gotten a blindfold. But this is the best I could do. Just hang in there, okay?"
He wrapped my arms around his body. I have to admit, I was enjoying the intimacy between us, now that my head wasn't blocked by the helmet. Even though without context, you'd think that he's trying to kidnap me in broad daylight. I could tell that he's driving slowly and carefully into a place that felt darker than outside.
He stopped the bike again. I assume for real this time. Where were we? I wanted to ask, but I knew he wasn't going to tell me. I felt tempted to just ruin it by untying the string, but it was quite hard to reach anyway.
With my arms flailing in front of me, and my legs marching forward awkwardly, Luka placed his hands on my shoulders to guide me in the right direction. I reached for a railing, which only had a wall on the other side. I tiptoed about, following it. It would appear as if I was trapped within a box.
"Can't I take this off now?" I asked.
I saw the silhouette of his head shaking, though it would be dumb of him to assume that I can see that. He affirmed it with his words. His voice sounded more alluring when my vision was blocked off.
Luka continued guiding me. This time, the walk forward was short. Coming from in front of me, I heard a beeping noise and the sound of a click. I took a few steps more.
"We're here," he announced, whispering in my ear.
I stood for a few moments before he gasped and noticed that I still had the 'blindfold' on. He gasped and quickly let me loose. As soon as I was released, I tried my best to catch my breath. But what I saw before me stole my breath away, much more than what the hoodie did. I couldn't express how I felt, other than with the gaping of my mouth.
Where on earth was I? Heck, heaven seems like the more appropriate word for it. I knew that his band made it big, but I never knew that it was to this extent.
"Welcome to our new home. From now on, I will always be by your side."
I started running around the place while Luka watched me acting like a maniac. The windows were huge and tall, spanning from the floor to the ceiling. Looking outside, I had a clear view of the sky which overlooked the whole city.
This can't be true, can it? We were in a freaking penthouse. With a wide open rooftop terrace and everything! And judging from the luxurious furniture, it had to cost a fortune. Luka took my hand and escorted me up the stairs, where the bedroom is. But first, we stopped by one of the rooms on the way. And it had my entire name spelled on it. Literally, on the door.
A desktop with accessories emitting neon lights; the latest consoles connected to a wide screen TV. And a multitude of shelves hang on the wall, holding up all the plush dolls I had from my old house. I could spend all day and all night just in this room alone!
"Luka, what did I ever do to deserve this?"
He leaned forward and kissed me. "You exist. You made me smile every day, when nobody else could. You're the only one who bothers to listen to what I have to say. And you gave me something worth fighting for."
We proceeded to the bedroom, as he had planned. Everything was so beautiful, I didn't know how to feel anymore. I ran straight for the bed, ignoring all else. I hopped towards it and dove in with a bellyflop. The springs of the bed bounced me back up.
Luka laughed at my silliness, but he followed as I did. As soon as he started running for me, I rolled sideways to make room on the bed for him to land on. When he bounced, he spun himself around and grabbed me before I could escape for good.
I swear, every time he touches me while we're on the bed... I can't stop myself from growing weak and succumbing to his sweet nothings. I stared deeply into his sweet, gray eyes.
"Luka? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You should know what happens when a couple has a roo—rather, a house of their own." My heart raced, awaiting what he was about to say next. "Nobody can hear you scream." Is he thinking what I'm thinking?
His hands grabbed onto my waist tightly. Something about it didn't feel right.
"Luka, stop! What are yo—" I struggled to get out of his grasps. But his legs clamped onto me tightly. There was no escape from him. I screamed, "It tickles!"
His hands traveled from my waist upwards. Somehow, my breathless moans seemed to be turning his sadistic brain on. I decided to fight back in my own way and bit onto his neck. He halted and began questioning what I was doing as I nibbled along his shoulder. He seemed to like it though.
"This is what you get for making me feel terrible."
"I apologize, my dear princess," he made an accent, reminiscent of old-time royalty. Then gave me a proper hug this time and stroked the back of my head to calm me down. "Let me make it up to you."
He stripped off both our clothes and began the foreplay. There was nothing else in the world that I wanted more, except one thing...
