"You're a very persistent man." His lips quirked up as he went to take another sip of his drink.

"I'm only persistent when I want something treasurable." I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and took two of his empty shot glasses.

This unfamiliar man has been coming to this bar for the past week, he always sat in the seat in front of me and demanded my service. At times he could be charming but once he had a few drinks our bouncer, Eric, took him outside. "Do you need anything before I take this order?"

"A night with you."

I smiled sarcastically and walked down a few seats. My feet almost turned around back to the persistent man when I saw Neil sitting there but I put on a smile and asked him his order. "Just water with lemon."

I prepared his drink swiftly before sliding it over to him. "Anything else?"

His eyes ran over my work uniform before slowly meeting my eyes. "That'll do."

I peered around to see if anyone else needed a drink before focusing on him while I had the free time. "I'm surprised Elijah isn't here with you."

He chuckled lowly. "He's here. Just, busy at the moment." I tried not to show distaste at the fact he was feeding.

"I'm starting to think you're stalking me Neil. This is what, the third time you've showed up at my work?"

"That is all too true."

I eyed him suspiciously. "Well stop, it's weird."

He grinned and motioned to my apron. "Not as if I'm disliking the view but you might want to retie your apron." I looked down and saw an embarrassing amount of cleavage showing.

I bit my lip to stop myself from scowling at him and retied the damned thing. All they gave us to wear was a black tank top, an apron with our name, and a black leather skirt. "Thanks." I mumbled lowly.

He watched me closely and I shifted awkwardly to my other foot. Ever since our talk last week he's been more friendly. We haven't seen each other much besides when he came here to see me working. I wasn't going to tell him but I didn't mind when he stopped by. "When does your shift end?"

"Another hour or so."

"Can I take you home?"

"I can walk." He twirled the mini black straw around in his drink and smiled.

"Can I walk you?"

"Are you going to tip me?"

"Don't I always?"

"Then yes." His smile widened humorously and he put a ten dollar bill on the counter.

My eyes snapped over to a couple waiting a few seats over. "I'll talk with you later." He sipped his drink and watched me walk over to the couple. After serving a few more drinks I was stopped by persistent man. Ted had clearly served him more drinks.
