Thick smoke filled the air, making the once bright tent into a total darkness with the scattered sounds of screaming and sirens. Plumes of black smoke billowed out of the entrance pouring with people trying to get out. Tongues of flames licked the tent walls in vengeance, engulfing the flames into holy matrimony, begging the innocent souls in the once tent to let them kiss their eyes and put them to eternal sleep. The fire fighters battled to extinguish the raging inferno, and the fire soon began to have a life of its own, searing heat slowly made it difficult to breathe. Thick, acrid smoke reduced the visibility to near zero while people were pouring out of the once tent like it was their last chance. The firefighters won this battle this time, but maybe not the next time.
