I woke up a few hours later when Ghost made my watch vibrate. Slowly waking me up, it felt natural.

"Time to wake up, Guardian," he said while floating next to me. "Sleep well?"

"Not bad, could've been worse though, classes done?"

"Yes, I linked into your scroll and told Ruby to come by in a few and then go into Vale with the rest of the team."

"So I have about five minutes to get ready?"

"Perhaps."

I slung my legs over the edge of my bed and sat up. There was a small ache in my back thanks to the way I slept, but I pushed the pain aside so I could get some gear around. I had a promise to keep; no one harboring ill intent was to get near Weiss.

In order to do this, I pulled out Trespasser and inspected it to confirm the condition of it. Afterwards, the sidearm was slide into my holster on the left side of my chest and I slipped a zip up sweatshirt over myself. Hopefully concealing the pistol.

I looked around the dorm to only see Gabe laying in bed, writing something.

"Hey kid, whatcha doing?"

"Hm?" He pulled some headphones off and looked in my direction, "you say something?"

"Yeah, what you up to?"

"Drawing, you going out?"

"Yeah, going into town with Team Ruby."

"Have fun."

"Thanks... hey can you tell I have a pistol under my shirt?"

He looked me up and down, and shook his head, "nope, you're good."

There was then a knock at the door, "Thanks, see you later tonight."

He nodded and put his headphones back on, I answered the door to see young Ruby Rose with a big grin.

I smiled and spoke "hey there, ready for me to join you?"

"Of course! Just need to go back to the dorm for a sec."

"Lead the way."

She turned down the hall, disappeared in rose petals down the hall and finally appeared in front of her teams dorm. I smirks and yelled down to her.

"I'll do you one better!"

I shade stepped towards her, then used my blink ability to make it all the way to Ruby. I looked down at Ruby to see her eyes in amazement.

"That... Was... Awesome!"

I chuckled and patted her shoulder, "let's get going shall we?"

She nodded rapidly and dashed into their dorm. I followed and stood in the doorway, watching the girls finish putting their school work away.

"Hey Felix," Weiss said, a little nicer than usual.

"Hey Weiss, how was class?"

"It was Port, how do you think?"

"I slept too, just not in class."

She rolled her eyes and finished what she was doing.

"Hey there big guy," Yang commented, "Nagisa told me you two had one hell of a training session last night."

"Heh, yeah, she barely landed any hits."

"What's gonna happen if you ever face someone you can't beat?"
