I pulled up my scarf and adjusted it to cover half my face again.
This time he turned and looked at me but turned back again quickly.
I could see my home now; we were getting nearer. I did not want it to be over. I wanted to be with him a little longer.
"This is my house... we've reached." I spoke in a faint tone as I stopped at the gate. I felt miserable that he was going to leave soon.
"Well then... goodnight,_____." He smiled. I could get used to this smile.
"The winter is too cold these days. You shouldn't wear thin clothing." He said to me, despite being the one wearing exactly that.
"Says the one who is wearing only a hoodie and pants."
"I was hot back then from the practice so I didn't think it'd turn out to be this cold later." He made excuses.
I smiled widely and nodded at his words.
"______..." he suddenly mumbled.
"Mm?" I looked at him, wide-eyed.
"Don't stay too late for practice. You always stay past midnight for practice...it's not safe at all."
"You know I stay past-midnight for practice?" I spoke timidly. Does it mean that he notices me too?
"Ahh... that... you always complain to me about the loud music even past midnight so I know." He cleared his throat and looked away.
"I should go... Bye,_____" he added and turned away.
I saw his back as he walked away.
It was over...
"Mark!" I mindlessly spoke.
He turned and looked at me.
"I like you."
